    Jonny Lang rocks!

    by JoeFan2 on 9/7/11Military Park - Indianapolis

The concert was awesome. Jonny Lang never disappoints. Rib America... food prices are outrageous, having to buy tickets is ridiculous and using public atms in such an arena is asking for serious identity theft issues! If we go back... we will eat before we go...no doubt about that!

    Jonny Lang rocked!

    by Audiojoe1 on 9/7/11Military Park - Indianapolis

Jonny Lang is such an excellent performer, and definitely was worth the drive from Louisville. Everclear was very engaging to the audience, and warmed up everyone. My only complaint would be the use of tickets for food and drinks, and the cost. Over $7.00 for a beer is gouging!

    KC & The Romantics

by SherryE on 9/7/11Military Park - Indianapolis

Excellent shows !! So happy to see "real" old music live and in person. Had the opportunity to speak with the band members from the Romantics. Very interesting chat ! And I've always loved KC's music, since the early 70s !! He never fails us !

We enjoy watching KC - His band is amazing and we are impressed how well he performs at his age. The added touch of the confetti was a nice surprise. The Romantics sounded really good. The sound systems for this venue is top notch.

I would recommend seeing Blind Melon and the Doobie Brothers in concert. I wouldn't recommend going to Rib America Festival. Bottle of water - $4.28 Pulled Pork Sandwich - $8.52 Smoked Beef Sandwich - $9.94 16 oz. Beer - $7.10

KC AND THE BAND STILL ROCK!!

    by Golfgirl46236 on 9/6/11Military Park - Indianapolis

KC and the band had us on our feet from the very first note until the end of the concert! It was such a wonderful show, taking us back to the 70's & 80's tunes that we fell in love with. They also intermixed some very popular motown and top 20s songs. KC has always been an entertainer and crowd pleaser, and despite the fact that he's 60 years old....he's still got it, in my book! Singing, dancing, watching a terrific show on a beautiful Indiana night-what more could you ask for! Great event by the entire RibAmerica Group.

    too expensive

    by Amie1321 on 9/6/11Military Park - Indianapolis

Loved the Doobies and Blind Melon. The food and drinks were expensive, and had to buy tickets to purchase concessions, not convenient at all! Did not eat the first rib!

Ribs & Classic Rock = Great Event

by ooeebaby on 9/5/11Military Park - Indianapolis

As a lover of BBQ, beer, and good music, this event hit the mark on all three. Although, I'd have to give the music on Saturday about a D+ (not into screaming at the top of your lungs grunge music), things changed for the better when the Doobie Brothers took the stage. After 40 years they still rock the house.

    Jack Ingram always Rocks

by cccmusicinme on 9/10/09Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

This was the 2nd time in 2 years that Jack Ingram played the Pittsburgh Rib Fest and this is the 2nd time he 'rocked the house'........................ I think the ribfest would do well to have him play there every year! After his concert his fans were able to meet him w/the purchase of his new CD. That was awesome. What was also awesome was that he stayed to meet each & every fan. There must have been at least 200 people in that line! Jack Ingram and his band live is one concert you shouldn't or don't want to miss!!

    Awesome Time

    by Dropper5 on 9/9/09Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

It was my first time enjoying the city of Pittsburgh. I have been to Heinz Field for a country concert before. I was impressed with the stadium then. But this time we went for the Rib burn off and to see Grand Funk Railroad. The day was beautiful. The set up of the area meaning the rib vendors and other food types was well arranged and the wait for food didn't take that long. Heinz Field was open for us to use the restrooms, fan shop, and fun things for the kids to do. Then it was time for the concert. We paid for the upgrade and that made it even better. The whole day didn't cost that much. Parking was even inexpensive. Only $5.00. Pittsburgh really did it right.

    Eric is awesome!

    by SarahJane44 on 9/8/09Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

Eric is the most underrated musician in country music. He puts on such a great show and gives the same energy no matter where he is playing. I have seen him 3 times now and I'm just going to keep adding to the number!

    Grand Funk was excellent

by joeyball on 9/7/09Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

Truly amazing this band can still be such a pleasure to watch after all these years. Granted, it's not all the original members, but they still perform great. I could have listened to their hits of yesterday for at least another few hours. The weather was great and so was the show.. I would definitely go and see them again-and bring more friends with me this time.

    Jack Ingram

by colinbaby on 9/6/09Heinz Field - Pittsburgh

Hello, He's Jack Ingram. He sings Country.. He rocks the house! The beat was a full force presentation of his many original songs. Loved it and will go again. It was very moving when he stopped his show and sang a capella God Bless the USA during the Pittsburgh fire works display.
