Underwhelming
by Elvis on 8/25/19Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 3 out of 5Part the fault of poor sound (system), part the fault of a trick that couldn’t be performed, the show overall was underwhelming. HOWEVER, there were some truly fantastic illusions and “tricks” that are always seen best live.

But for adults who have seen magic before, his tricks were old style and have been around for many years. Because the show appeals more to a young crowd I thought his assistants did too much bumping and grinding. It added nothing. The venue was great!

I paid lots of money for assigned seating but could not see because the floor was flat. Heads were in the way and we were all constantly moving. But Reza put on a GREAT show. Well worth the $200(4 tickets). I will definitely go see him again!!!

However, this guy did some stuff that me and fiancé looked at each other and said, “What? He didn’t just do that did he?” Crazy good. We loved it.

Reza was entertaining, funny, and the illusions and magic were excellent. My only complaint is with the sound in the Presentation Hall. That venue is not conducive to Big sound. Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt, Lori Line, all good in that hall. BoDeans, Cloud Cult terrible in that hall.
