OMG. I loved it! I laughed, sang along and even cried. The cast was phenomenal! I would definitely see it again.
The show was spectacular! Every single person sang and performed amazingly, it was one of the best shows I’ve seen.
I have seen the Broadway show 3 times and I have to say this was the best yet. Amazing show and sad to see it come to an end. The venue is beautiful and the seating is really comfortable. So spacious and seats are soft. I love seeing shows there.
RENT is my favorite musical and I got to experience it LIVE! Definitely a night to remember! THE TALENT!! the artist pulled off such an amazing show! 1000/10✨🌟✨🌟
I felt that it was long and dragged. Too many stories and got confused several times of the storyline. I personally, didnt feel it. I do have to say that there was a lot of talented singers/performers on the musical.
The artists sang and acted their hearts out. Their passion was clearly shared with the audience. Their performance was flawless and moving, yet the humor they sprinkled during the show was magical to keep a balance of sentiments.
Such a beautiful show! Brought tears to my eyes! Great performance by cast!
Not appropriate. Especially for children. Too vulgar.
Very small venue bur production was great. 4th time seeing RENT . Looking forward to seeing it again if it comes to EJ Thomas.
The cast was AMAZING! I was blown away by the Broadway potential in this cast. I can’t wait to see more from this company in the future. This was an amazing experience and I couldn’t be happier to have seen some of Jonathan Larson’s work live on stage.
The play itself was wonderful. It could not have been performed better. These performers did a wonderful job. But the theatre was extremely crowded. It was actually uncomfortable. Thank God there was no fire or emergency that would have required a fast evacuation. While speaking to the person next to me, I found out that she had thought she purchased the last seat in that row. However, I was in the last seat. After talking to a few other people, we found out this was the case for many people. Evidently, the management added seats to increase ticket sales. I would recommend adding more performances - perhaps some matinees - when the ticket sales indicate a high demand. Also, I was sitting in the A seat in the last row of chairs. I couldn't hear anything for the entire first act. The sound was garbled.
It was a great adaptation. Singing spot on, the entire cast, musicians, manager, and all the support staff are to be stand up applauded. Wonderful evening out, telling everyone I know to go.
To give some background I am used to attending musicals of varying levels and have performed as well. This was the most underwhelming experience I have ever had. Upon entry there was little to know direction. I wasn’t asked for a ticket. I can’t tell if it wasn’t expected of me to attend the show or if it was assumed I was retreating from the cold. I was standing waiting with my phone out on the ticket screen for a few minutes before a group of people came in, stepped in front of me and were ushered in. It was then that I finally was given entry. The play itself was ok. The acting was fine. The vocals left much to be desired. The actresses had quality singing voices, the actors were pitchy and probably should not have been singing. The sound quality of the voices were great quality but the backing music didn’t have the same quality. It looked like a lot of work was put into the over all logistics so I want to give props for that. This just was not the kind of experience I would have liked. I left at intermission. I will likely never attend that theatre again.
Every cast member deserves and oscar. I couldnt look away I was so amazed and how well rent was portrayed. I had the time of my life and wish I could have gone the following weekend.
A talented cast for sure! A wonderful production of RENT on the small, quaint ACT - Knight’s stage. Also, hats off to the 3 musicians who were absolutely brilliant at their craft. Kudos All!
Awesome show and talented cast! Don’t miss MTP’s Rent! You will not be disappointed!
My family & friends enjoyed the show!! The costumes were spot on! The talent of the cast was terrific!! Exceeded my expectations!!
As much as I was looking forward to seeing RENT again, we left at intermission. We were seated in the center section, orchestra, row Z. We could not understand a word the players were singing. The sound mix was just wrong. Not so bad for me, I know the songs and the story frontward and backward. But for my friend, who was seeing RENT for the first time, and who said to me at intermission "I don't have the slightest idea what anyone is saying," it was tragic. I recommend the musical...I don't recommend this performance.
I have gone to Rent about three times now over the years and this performance did not disappoint. Rent is one of my top favorite musicals that has been a must see when it comes to town. In this tour Maureen and Tom Collins stole the show with their outstanding vocals and acting. Prices were reasonable. There was plenty of seating. The stewards did a good job directing people to their seats. The seats are not very comfortable but not very many theater seats are. The acoustics were good in the hall. Overall this show is a must see!
