Rent (Chicago) Tickets

I am old but had never seen this play, but knew the songs. When I saw that the 25th anniversary tour was coming around, I decide I couldn't wait another 25 years because who knows if I'd be around for it??? I am sooooo happy that I didn't wait. What an amazing experience! This cast sounded awesome together and the audience really got into it. The CIBC Theater is smallish enough to be intimate yet large enough to handle the glorious voices..

It was awesome! As someone who was just visiting and had never even heard of rent, i LOVEDDDD it!

This was my husband's 4th time seeing Rent, but my first. The cast was outstanding and even though we had good seats (orchestra,) I think any area of the Majestic theater would deliver a good view.

The musical was fantastic. The actors were great. The soloists were phenomenal. The only problem, and, it was a huge problem, was that any time that the band played loudly, you could hear that the actors were singing but the words were completely indecipherable. I know the words to the songs, and I still couldn’t make out what they were saying.

Liked very much the captions/titles displayed on the main floor on the right of the stage. Was this announced in advance? How could I identify performances of upcoming shows that have this feature?

Cast showed lots of energy and effort. Still a dated piece that was hard to like. In fact there wasn't one character to like in the show.

Great show! Great to be back at a Broadway in Chicago show! The theater staff is taking Covid seriously and courteously

AMAZING!!! 25 years ago I saw Rent in Chicago during its debut. Taking our 17 y/o daughter to the farewell performance was the best!! There is a new playlist in our house….

Finally, great to see a full audience! Rent was as I remember more than 20 years ago on Broadway! The cast was fantastic and you could see that after almost 2 years they were all excited to be back on stage performing. Do not miss this exciting cast and performance

Working long hours in the hospital, it’s essential to get hiatuses from those stresses. Being able to experience the story of Rent and live in the moment with the cast as well as the rest of the audience truly made this a memorable experience that I am truly blessed to have been a part of. The cast, ensemble, crew, tech, and instrumentalist were absolutely brilliant and it brought back a part of me that was lost because of the pandemic. Seasons of Love is one of my all time favorite musical numbers and that was truly incredible; shout-out to the featured singers during that song, shout-out to Angel for being absolutely brilliant, and shout-out to everyone else for bringing an impeccable performance to live theatre after nearly 2 years of no live theatre performance. 10/10 would go see it again.

The entire ensemble was absolutely amazing! The partner harmonies were like honey! All of the actors had such great chemistry and even thought i sat on the mezzanine level, their emotions oozed out of them! All other musical will have a lot to live up to after this heartfelt rendition of so many wonderful songs!

The 25th anniversary final tour was absolutely amazing. The theatre handled everything with grace. Everyone had their vaccine cards. The staff had little signs to keep mask up. Cannot wait to get my next set of tickets

It was incredible to be a part of opening night. I loved being a part of an audience that truly wanted to show the cast how happy we are to have them back. There was a standing ovation at the beginning of the show as soon as the cast came on stage. I still get goose bumps thinking about it. ♥️

The performance was spectacular!! The cast was amazingly energetic and their voices bright and fresh. I enjoyed it immensely. The story was funny and heartbreaking all at once. This was the first major live performance I’ve seen since the pandemic began and while I was nervous about being around so many people, the CIBC Theater did a great job of trying to ensure the safety of their audience. They required proof of vaccination and masking throughout the performance. I would not have felt comfortable attending otherwise. I found myself in Chicago at the last minute, so purchased tickets a bit late in the game. I was disappointed that I had to purchase ‘limited view’ seats because I only needed 2, but the 3 seats in front of me (which I attempted to buy 2 of) were left empty. My options were by 2 seats that were limited view or buy 3 seats when I only needed 2. In the end, those 3 better seats were left open - seems like such a waste.

This was my first time seeing RENT live, and I could not have been happier! The show was amazing, and the cast was phenomenal! Not only did they really look like their characters, but I could tell they put everything they had to bring them to life. A big thank you to the cast and crew for making this such a memorable experience! And thank you Ticketmaster for always being our go-to for affordable and reliable tickets!!

Rent was great. Having seen it in New York with the original cast, this production did themselves proud. I would definitely recommend it.

The show continues to amaze me. I saw it 20 years ago and again last week. The performers are energy driven and so talented!!!

We all LOVED it, was the first time at the theatre for us and was well worth it. The cast did a wonderful job! Thanks for the memories!
