  • An Event Worth Remembering

by Carrie on 10/14/25Fort Smith Convention Ctr. - Fort SmithRating: 5 out of 5

For all weather enthusiast this event is a must!! Reed shares stories of his storm chasing escapades and shares data they've collected along the way. He's an expert, and incorporates humor into his presentation as well. The event was very interactive and he spent time addressing each and every question the audience had for him. I highly recommend seeing Reed and Team Dominator if you have the opportunity! Money well spent!!

First off I want to say I love Reed Timmer! It was my husband and I 10 year anniversary and we drove 2.5 hours away from Saint Louis, Missouri to Peoria Illinois to see his show. We originally bought the tickets for his show but it was canceled and I was so excited to see he rescheduled at a different venue. When we arrived to the venue. We saw the Dominator 3 outside the venue. I thought it would only be for VIP tickets, so that was a pleasant surprise! We went inside the venue and instantly saw the merchandise table with Reed Timmers crew Matt standing there, that was also a pleasant surprise! We find our seats and because of the price difference there was a huge gap between the front and back which felt awkward. There were a bunch of people in the back and front rows but hardly anyone in the middle. It would have felt better to be spread out a little. Reeds stories were fun to listen too about his adventures but he needs remember to breath a little. At the end I wanted to stay and listen to the Q&A but Reed lost the crowd a little bit when the kids started asking for pictures. So we left. So overall we had a good time.

If you know who Reed is, I don't need to tell you his presentation is all about tornadoes, hurricanes and punching hail cores! He shared chase videos and gave anecdotes about each chase. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of tornadoes - give him a date and he can tell you what tornado he chased that day. He also had slides detailing tornado "anatomy"if you will. Kids really seemed to enjoy the presentation and Reed, many going to the mic afterwards to ask questions and get a picture with him. If you know a young person interested in storms or storm chasing take them to see this!
