We totally enjoyed the entertainment at the 360 Amphitheater. Three days of fantastic music and comedy for a price that could not be matched anywhere else. We are looking forward to next years Red Fest and have several friends that want to join us.
The whole experience was amazing! The food and drinks were a bit over priced but the overall experience was the best!
Very enjoyable!!!!! Would do it again in a heartbeat!!!!
VERY SPREAD OUT .... hard to find your way around! Memorial Day in TX is HOT and HUMID! Amph 360 headliners - Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line rocked the house. Larry the Cable Guy best comedian by far. Nice venue, but, lots of empty seats during the earlier acts and hosts encouraged lawn folks to fill in ... not a good idea! No one wanted to leave. Kellie Pickler was good, too! Some entertainers simply did not maintain schedule. Laser Tag and Zip Line more for kids. Rain dashed our night at the carnival. Never got to drive the Go-Kartss
Loved it - please do again next year. We were in the RV trackside parking and will do again. Great event in every way. Can't wait until next year - timing of year was great!
Both were exceptional. The bands and comics all through the event were great. The food and drinks were overpriced but good.
I am so pleased to that we were a part of the first Redfest in ATX. Great music!!! All of the shows were amazing. Lots to do and see - in fact, we didn't get to see all of it. We camped and that is the only way to go! I am ready to get my name on the list for next year. I hope that it will become an annual event for Austin. My first time at the COTA and I am so impressed with the event site and the wonderful staff. REDFEST 2014 AUSTIN TEXAS - A GREAT MEMORY!!!
Loved everything about the festival! Enjoyed camping, staff everywhere were all friendly and helpful, hilarious comedy and great music - lots of variety from country to folk to blue grass. Being prepared with an extra pair of shoes (for the extra walking) and ear plugs helped immensely. Frequent reminders throughout the performances thanking the military for their services. Christopher with Woody RV Rentals went to extra lengths to make our camping experience more pleasurable.
The overall concept of red fest is admirable, honoring our veterans and active duty service men and women. The lineup was good. Rodney Carrington was hilarious, Tim McGraw excellent, Jeff and Larry used a lot of old material that was just not that funny. Everyone else was fair to good. I had a good time but will probably not go again.
Go early to see and experience it all. Take cash and lots if you plan on drinking. Fun time.
We had a wonderful time. We were able to see LOTS of artists and comedians. Can't wait until the next RedFest event!!!!
Positives......For the inaugural Austin event....I was impressed!!! The Circuit of The Americas facility is really nice. The bands that were lined up were phenomenal.....Tim McGraw put on a fantastic show. He played for two hours without stopping. There were plenty of vendors and fun games to play if you weren't there for the music. The carnival rides were a nice touch for the younger kids. Dislikes....beverage prices were a little steep, a little higher than an NFL game. I didn't mind paying $20 for parking, but I'm not a fan of the "no in and out" policy. There were three day parking passes available initially, but they "sold out". Would like to see some of the big name female acts next year. Overall it was a great weekend, wife and I are already making plans for next year!
This 3 day music festival was such a great idea! The venue was perfect! Each show was so much fun! I can't wait until next year!!!
It was a BLAST!!!! I look forward to doing it every year!!
Between all the stages there was something for everyone. Comedy, Some harder new country stars ,and classics. Looking forward to next year.
Overall it was a great show. Lynyrd Skynyrd did not disappoint. I was very impressed with Kenny Wayne Shepperd. Other bands, Eric Tessmer, Hellbound Glory, and Whiskey Sisters made me a fan of theirs.
Tim McGraw was the best performance of the weekend! The comedians Jeff Foxwothy and Rodney Carrington were awesome! Lynyrd Skynyrd rocked! Great selection of music and comedians. Great variety of activities! What a great weekend! Also, want to complement COTA as they have made great improvements in having plenty of port a potties available and stocked with TP and hand cleaning. Thank you!
This was one of the best concert events I have been too. All the artist was amazing and each one of them gave a special tribute to our military service troops. I can only hope that COTA will continue to make this an annual Memorial Day event.
So proud to be a part of this inaugural event! Texas does it right! Already planning on going next year! The line up was great, the weather was great!
