A fun night listening to some of the greatest songs ever written and performed by a talented, versatile, musical cast. There were different takes of the Hunter/Garcia canon. We were up and dancing by the end.
An extremely talented group of actors/actress's who did a wonderful performance using some traditional Grateful Dead Music and Lyrics to create a interesting story. It was great to see that many of the performers played multiple instruments The stage and the props were really nice and the energy behind it all was tremendous. GREAT JOB!
The show was a lot of fun. I was not sure what to expect but liked it all. The music was great and most of all the talent was great. I like seeing artists that have the ability to play multiple instruments.
Such a fantastic show! I got my husband tickets for his birthday. He is a Grateful Dead fan and he loved it! I enjoyed it very much and I am not usually into that music style. Theatre was nice. Highly recommend to all!
This show was terrific! Excellent integration of Garcia/Hunter songs into story.
What a fun play with great music of the Grateful Dead. The performers are so talented, they all play all instruments very well, singing was very good and the guy on fiddle was the best! I had a great time and so will you. Go check this out. Small theater & a great set.
Fun & touching story line. Talented actors/musicians. Great arrangements.

Wonderful... great seats.... we had sooo much fun.... first row we were able to song along , dance, and participate
What a great show - a must see - way off Broadway but worth the trip. The cast was super talented for sure better than Broadway talent. The fun of the show along with the great talent of the cast and crew makes it a must see!! Already have tickets to take others along for a show!!
Deadheads and lovers of all genres of music will find this high energy music filled show to be fantastic! If you know the Grateful Dead songs, it is even better, but not necessary. Don't miss this show!!!

This play is so much fun. Light on story, but who cares. The cast will be among the best performers you will experience. Beautiful voices and amazing skills on a number of instruments. We went on the first snowy day in the city and the theater was not packed, which was such a shame because the performers deserve a full house. The price is right, the music is jamming, and the fun is contagious!
For a Dead Head, it is an excellent presentation of the music we all loved for years. The plot is a little hinkie, but some of the music is a total change from traditional presentation. For me, the show stopper was the female duet of Brokedown Palace, accompanied by cello and acoustic guitar!! If you are looking for loud heavy metal, avoid. If you love the 30s, 40s and 50s music that inspired (and was covered by) the Dead, this is a don't miss show.
Bottom line, the Gig is that the folks who put together the show, and the folks who performed it, are BEYOND talented!!!... They took material that was already established, and ELEVATED it and enmeshed it into a cookie-cutter classic narrative that ELEVATED that as well.... So well done. Why are there so many empty seats???!!!???...
A fun show where the audience sings along and everyone has a great time. Cast was great.
While the story line could have been a little more developed the cast blew the doors off the place with their performances. Their take on the classic Dead songs was nothing less then amazing, actually bringing a tear to the eyes every now and then.
The story itself was truly sub par, BUT the music, acting, and choreography were all great! If you are a Grateful Dead fan, do it!
