  • Great music, too much talking

    by Chris L. on 10/6/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The music was great, but the fact that this was the first time doing this format was apparent. Interrupting the show after EVERY song to make announcements, chit chat, introduced the jukebox catagories was just too much. We all love Wade in this town, but none of us paid to her him talk all night long. Going forward, have to work out the format so there's way less talking, and more music.

  • Great Artists, Bad Format

by Gameshow on 10/6/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

In spite of the Show's Shortcomings, the Artists were Excellent and the sound quality was also. I do not recommend the Jukebox format. This show was 100% about promoting Red Bull and Whisky Jam. The Artists took a back seat to the promotion and the miserable MC. Each Artist's set was ONLY 4 of 5 songs. The show started late and ended early. I'm very disappointed in the Format of the show.

  • Pretty good

by Kelly on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The artist themselves were great! It’s nice to see up-and-coming artists as well as ones that are becoming very popular. One issue we had is everywhere we saw it started at 6 o’clock. Other people, I spoke to thought that as well and that’s what they saw. And then it ended up starting at 7:30. I would reword that doors open at 6 and then when the concert actually starts. Also, I get it’s a live show, but having the announcer come out after every single performance seems to slow it down. Seems like that could be reworked a little bit somehow. Overall good experience! Obviously prices for drinks were outrageous but I guess that just is what it is.

  • Good concert

Thought it was good, the sound system was not the best.

  • Jukebox

by Ken on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

Beautiful venue, good idea but way too much talking between every song. Wasn’t really close to a concert - no rhythm, one song lots of talking and sharing the votes and then finally another song and so on

  • Red Bull

    by Troy D on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Bands were great but didn't enjoy the fact that the headliner performed the same amount of songs (4) as the other bands. Its great to be introduced to newer artists but in the end most people pay to see the headliner.

  • Awful

by Lindsay on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 1 out of 5

The guy running the show i was extremely annoying and mood killing and the way the whole concert went killed the vibe. Thankfully we didn’t get pit tickets.

  • Best show I have ever seen.

by Deb on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fabulous. The artists were great but such a different experience since we (the fans) had some say in it. Loved the extras like BRELAND friends, the chorus, TN state marching band and the song writer competition results. It started on time and was an easy flow between acts. The house band was incredible. I also loved Redbull drinks. Perfect weather for a perfect evening.

  • What a great experience!!

by Wendylane on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

From the downtown river setting, with the skyline, and bridges... To the stage set up, and shape.....the killer hosts and talented artists...the lights, facilities, it was all just amazing! I'm so happy I went to the first ever Red Bull Whiskey Jam and interacted with picking the songs for the artist to perform! Ward knows how to throw a party, and put on a show!!

  • Really Underwhelmed

by Deanne on 10/5/24Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 2 out of 5

So we bought the tickets to see Brothers Osborne. In fact we traveled from Canada specially for this purpose. Aside from the exorbitant prices for drinks and the annoying DJ who talked too much in between every song, the fact that Brothers Osborne only played three songs left me feeling like crying. Don't advertise it as a concert if it's not. It was barely 10 minutes. Very unsatisfactory when they got the same play time as the newer acts.
