I believe Raul Malo has the most beautiful voice of our time. You cannot go wrong seeing him in person. His musicality on the guitar is equally as great. I loved his acoustic show. His accompanyment by an accordianist was just perfect.
Not only is Raul Malo a great guitarist and vocalist, but he also knows how to interact with his audience, with good conversation and a great sense of humor! Listening to him was a joy, and his four song encore was generous in length, but the time passed much too quickly. Raul's sidekick on accordian, Michael, was a great instrumentalist in his own right, and posessed a very good voice...he may be good enough to venture out on his own.

Great voice, great presence! This show really was fantastic. What a crooner! Romantic songs ~ recommended for dates!
A great concert, very intimate and Raul was as charming and dreamy as ever. He is just as great in person at a small venue as his recordings. He never disappoints!
The Lola room was such a nice intimate setting and the sound was great. What a lot of energy and work for the small crowd, everyone was polite and behaved nicely. I would love to see more concerts in this kind of setting. I wish Raul would have had some of his CD's ect for sale.
Raul is truly BRILLIANT......and it was an honor and privilege to have attended his performance, which was a first for my wife and I as a married couple.....we look foward to getting his new CD when it releases in august., and someday seeing him with my triplet sons,
Raul Malo has one of the best voices I have ever heard, He is smooth and solid in his performance. He owned the stage.
Raul was amazing as usual. His voice and his music are as strong as ever. His new album (The Lucky One) is definitely worth picking up.
Fortunately we were up close for Raul. His voice is rich and his pitch and range was amazing. Quite the whistler as well. It takes allot of confidence to walk on stage with a mic and an acoustic guitar. I enjoyed the Mavericks songs but I did miss the horns and the backbeat of a band. I do have an issue with the venue management and their selection of a warmup. Attractive gal with good stage presence but an annoying voice. Her lyrics were better served in a childrens show. Not my cup of tea.
