Rascal Flatts Concert Schedule

Marrying pop with country is an art form all its own, and Rascal Flatts is proof positive. The harmonious trio from Ohio create both melodic ballads and thumping dance numbers. Comprised of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, the group has a penchant for meaningful lyrics and a sense of soul. Rascal Flatts live performances are rousing and welcoming. The energy in the crowd is frenetic, and the large live band creates an unparalleled buzz through the air. The band appeals to a young demographic and has earned the CMA award for Best Vocal Group of the Year and the ACA Decade Artist Award, along with other acclaim. Rascal Flatts earned the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Country Music charts for more than a dozen of their songs, including "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "Here Comes Goodbye." Rascal Flatts tours include the 2016 Rhythm and Roots Tour, 2015 Riot Tour and 2014 Rewind Tour.

Rascal Flatts Background

Rascal Flatts hails from Ohio, but they first assembled as a group in Nashville at the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar in the late '90s when second cousins LeVox and DeMarcus connected with Don Rooney through mutual friends. In 1999, the group recorded a three-song demo that was played for a Lyric Street executive by their producers. Soon, the band was signed to the Lyric Street label and within a year they would have a single on the Billboard charts. Some of their first big shows included opening for Kenny Chesney at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville and joining a stop on the Neon Circus Tour in Bristow, VA. Influenced by everyone from George Jones to Stevie Wonder, Rascal Flatts quickly started accruing hit singles with their unique blend of country with a pop twist. The song that got them signed to their record label, "Prayin' for Daylight," reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts soon after they got their contract. Between 2000 and 2005, the group released and impressive three albums, and they continue to record at a breakneck pace. In 2014, their album Rewind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Over the course of their career, the band's awards have included the ACM Top New Vocal Duo Or Group in 2001, People's Choice Awards Favorite Group in 2009, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.

    Excessively LOUD

by Steve on 8/30/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

From the 2xx section the sound was extremely loud. Even with ear plugs in. And I don’t have sensitive ears. I like Rascal Flatts but the volume was too high! I just couldn’t completely relax and enjoy myself. The bathrooms were clean - thank you!

    Just OK

    by R. W. on 8/27/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

My husband and i attended Rascal Flatts at Jiffy Lube Live on Aug. 24, 2019. I am a big Rascal Flatts fan, but was a little disappointed. There were 3 opening acts so the main attraction did not start till almost 10 pm. So they only played about 1 1/2 hours. To contrast we were at Zac Brown Band the following night. 1 opening act, the band started at 8 :15 or so and played for 3 hours.

    OK Concert, but...

by KERK on 8/27/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

We have looked forward to seeing Rascal Flatts for some time now. We got a great deal on these tickets, so were very happy about it. Morgan Evans, the opening act, was really good. I know some of his stuff from the radio, but he was really good in person and we would go to see him again. Jordan Davis was next. I also know some of his stuff from the radio and like him. In person, however, he was not so great for us. It was difficult to understand him and we just did not like his live performance. Sorry! We have listened to Rascal Flatts for years and always enjoyed them. My wife's immediate comment when they came out was that Gary did not look well. I know it's been a long road for them and we are all older, but I have to agree that he did not look good. His voice was as expected, though, and his bandmates were also very good. All in all, their part of the show was pretty good. However... Just before Rascal Flatts came out there was a "human beat box" performer who said he was personally invited by the lead band to perform at their show. I am not a fan of this type of performance and do not understand why he would be at a country music concert. Lastly, near the end of their act Rascal Flatts invited a rap artist out to perform. I do not remember his name, do not like rap and we elected to leave the show at that time. Again, it is beyond us why this performer would be invited to do a country music concert. The advantage to us leaving a bit early is that we avoided the vehicle gridlock trying to get out of the area. That was a nice bonus. One last comment: The staff at Jiffy Lube Live was the most polite group of people I have ever dealt with at a venue. They were all helpful, polite and friendly. It was an unexpected surprise and we very much appreciated it. We will definitely look to go back to this arena for another concert in the future.

    Overall, great performance

    by v. c. on 8/27/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

I wasn't too crazy about Jordan Davis or Morgan Evans performances but they were ok. On the other hand, Verbal Ase was amazing and I could have watched him for much much longer. Rascal Flatts was undeniably amazing which is just what I expected. Their talent is unreal and it was such a pleasure watching them for the first time live. I will say, I was a bit disappointed in their playlist. They didn't do a lot of their more well known and hit songs that I feel like would have fit this venue and demographic better. We didn't hear fast cars and freedom, or other more romantic hits like I won't let go. Overall though, it was amazing.

    terrible sound

by rffan on 8/27/19Xfinity Center - Mansfield

The performance was good but the sound was mixed so badly that the drums obscured the performers voices as well as the acoustic guitar and banjo. I had great seats so it was very disappointing.

    Great set

    by J. L. on 8/27/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

Rascal Flatts has so many hits to play. They did a good job of jumping across a lot of their albums. They played 4 cover songs (i think) and I'd have preferred that they packed in more of their own songs but overall the set was really good. They played a couple songs that were not just hit singles as well as a lot of hits. This is a good summer tour, good vibes, great sound as always. If you like rascal flatts and want to hear songs from across their entire catalog this is the tour for you, although you wont hear all of their songs by any means as they have far too many albums for that at this point. I had lawn seats at jiffy lube live for this set and it is a great location to lay around (until the headliner comes out) and relax for a show. As with any amphitheater layout you will likely watch the giant screens most of the show, but was fine for me. Rascal Flatts lights/display was good and sound quality was very good.

    GREAT SHOW

by Snoopy on 8/27/19Jiffy Lube Live - Bristow

Rascal Flatts always delivers a fantastic show. We were surprised by the guest appearance of Brett Brier and his rap song. Opening acts were both good. Ase was amazing. Rascal Flatts was fantastic. They have updated the sound of a couple of their classics, we liked that. they are such high energy.
