Maybe too much of a good thing.

by Franklin on 5/8/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Crazy about Randy Rainbow, but am more used to 3-4 minute clips than an entire hour and a half of non-stop repetitive parodies. Maybe too much of a good thing. The sound was really loud, the bass player in the center of the stage blocked part of the screen, so if we couldn't understand what Randy was saying or singing....we should have been able to read it...and we couldn't see it because of the bass player. I would have also liked an intermission to break up so much sensory overload. We purchased the more expensive seats which entitled you to some sort of autographed merchandise and were disappointed it was a just a listing of all of his show dates. We were expecting a mug....or pink glasses....or something a little nicer than that. Having said all of that, I did appreciate his creativity and am glad we went. But probably would not go again. We were all a little antsy after about an hour of nonstop parodies.

Randy Rainbow delivers a great performance

by ForFunsSake on 5/7/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

The show is energetic, entertaining and fun. Highly recommended. The meet and greet, not so much. We were rushed through quickly. It was a fast, have our picture taken (no cell phone picture allowed) and a quick exchange of pleasantry. The pictures look ridiculous because you are so far away, it could be a cutout of Randy and look the same. They don’t even try to take a good picture. The show is worth every dime. Don’t waste your money on the meet and greet. Highly disappointing.

    Fantastic Show

by Shawn on 5/7/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

Seeing and meeting Randy Rainbow will always be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. He definitely put on a fabulous show. I attempted to hook him up with my gay son but we'll see what happens.

    So loud often unintelligible

by EBLgma on 5/7/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

We enjoyed Randy, but not so much the experience. The audio was SO LOUD that often his words were unintelligible. Also, there were captions on the screen at the back of the stage. However, we often could not read them because the bass player was on a platform right in front of the screen. There were only three band members....did one have to stand blocking the screen that had captions???

Absolutely Fabulous! Randy Takes On Texas...and WINS!

by amacker on 5/7/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

I had a *slight* trepidation as to whether Randy could bring his musical comedy to the live stage, given that besides his incredible voice, he relies on the videos he edits himself, which frequently feature him singing his own backup choruses. Well do not fear! Randy was in fine fettle with technology displaying the videos as a backdrop, playing the audio of the backup singing, but he had a live band and did all the singing—flamboyantly and with range and sustain that I'd never heard before. It had the sol out audience agasp with delight. And that man can rock a pink sequined suit with a 20' fuchsia feather boa, let me tell you! Like a cross between Barbie and Ken. Bring some bucks for the $20 pink rhinestone glasses for sale at the door when you leave. You'll want to do all your political interviews wearing them, gurl!

Rainbow Connection - Outstanding talent followed up by a Q&A

by Curt on 5/7/24Majestic Theatre Dallas - Dallas

This was our 2nd opportunity to attend Randy's shows in Dallas Texas. As before this was a brilliant performance ready for Broadway. After the show Randy got into his street clothes and came out to talk. He is so endearing.
