Jon Lovett is a podcast host, former presidential speechwriter, and straight shooter widely respected on both sides. In 2017 he co-founded Crooked Media, where he co-hosts "Pod Save America" and hosts "Lovett or Leave It," two popular podcasts that are very good. Before Crooked, he served as a speechwriter in the Obama White House, co-created a comedy on NBC called "1600 Penn" (canceled after one perfect season), and wrote speeches for Hillary Clinton. He recently switched to oat milk.

Jiyapal was a great get. You're guest chef was a little rough around the edges. Needs to find a smoother way to get her resume heard and appreciated. She definitely has an enlightening story. I've seen her before. She is a legend. Needs a little work on live performance. Good on Jon for giving her a platform.
What a great experience! Fun show, Rep Jayapal was great, Lovett was awesome!
Show was pretentious and tried too hard to be clever. No meat, all potatoes......... Glad the candidates were there and given a forum for local elections Alexandra Petrie was the best guest and quite frankly, better than the host. Host could have provided more context for the expectations of a podcast. Disappointing event
I was expecting more talk about the current political issues. Instead, the main topic was bagels and gourds. Not impressed!
We had an absolute blast seeing Lovett or Leave It! It was a great show and I was really glad to snag tickets through ticketmaster at the last minute to this almost sold out show!
I had a great time at Lovett or Leave It. The guests were such a treat and the monologue was on point. I would definitely go again when LOLI comes back to DC.
Lovett or Leave It is my favorite podcast and was even better live.
Lovett is great, it was everything I expected from listening to the podcast. I was glad that it was two hours because the podcast is usually cut to one.
Jon Lovett is so smart. He thinks and reacts so quickly and wittily. (Is wittily a word?) His banter with the guests and audience is, to borrow Jon's phrase, such a delight. I wish I could watch him every day. This was my first time seeing him live. I listen to his podcast every week religiously. I will continue to do that, but now I will definitely keep track of his future tour dates and cities so I can see him live again in the future.
