Amazing Rakim is truly a legend.. Can’t wait for Seattle
As always, Rakim gave a great performance. But, there is NO NEED for me to show up at 7 or 8pm if he isn't going to start until 11pm. This isn't the first time I've seen him so I know his M.O. Also, even though I found the event online, they could've did a better job advertising/promoting the event. The turn out was horrible.
Was shortest concert ive ever been to and sound quality was terrible just wasnt one of my favs and im a reg concert goer
Seeing Rakim perform at the house of blues in Cleveland was an honor! The venue itself is small and personal (I like that). It also was decorated very jazzy and had a great aesthetic. Rakim put on an amazing show and I would def like to see him again!
True MCing, Mic Controller, Endless production. The lyrical writting is very thoughtful displayed by a genius poetical format put into motion very clever before it’s time.
It was dope to see 1 of the legends i grew up on. Brought back some cool memories!
I really enjoyed the concert! Rakim was great! He still can rock a crowd! I will definitely go see him again!
So glad this man started writing and picked up a 🎤
The concert was late starting the main acts was late getting stage when they finally came out they was rush off stage so meaning they only perform three songs maybe four.. At the beginning of the concert all these unknown performers Took up all the time very horrible concert and bone thugs n harmony was a no show wish I can get my money back
The show started late all the rappers did not perform. It was like a high school talent show. I think I should be entitled to a refund or some of my money back
They spent so much time with the opening acts and they rushed with the main acts! People that paid for back row seats were up front and i couodnt even enjoy the concert. People were smoking inside! It was a mess. I wish i could get my money back!!!!!
The last 3 acts were the best. But pretty badthat i had to wait a hr for 2 drinks pretty sad.
Sound System was horrible . 1st hour they up and coming rapper which was ok but I am 40 that is not what older crowd likes well my opinion. Seats were small and tight. Wasn’t worth all the money I spent
The main artist I wanted to see what’s there, the microphones were very bad. I did like the prices
Rakim, Shawnna. Crucial Conflict and Project Pat was good. They had a lot of hours of others promoting their music and it got terrible. Everybody that hit the stage complained about the terrible mics and sound system. People that paid for the cheap seats came up front started blocking us and smoking the venue out. They need security in the lanes to block people from coming up close.
Too many artists who wasn’t on the plugger preforming which made it not as good as it should/could have been
I really love it except for the sound. It was horrible.... They got it going better for some artist but not all. I love CC
Terrible all around. Almost 2hrs of garbage unrelated warm up acts, audio cutting out, microphones not working correctly, and the headline groups were all rushed (max 15mins each). 45mins+ wait for concessions, no crowd control at all. And for some reason a "photographer" was allowed to march around on stage and in the crowd with his 1980s camera flashing at the crowd constantly.
Rakim gave a stellar performance for Chicago! He wore a Cubs coat and jersey for the crowd. I was inspired and humbled. I love Rakim and try to see him every time he comes to Chicago.
I did not appreciate the loca talent show. Didn't mind the local artist it was just too many. They song 4-5 songs each. Before the real artists could come out. Very unorganized. Too much sitting people booing and yelling fir the show. Rakim was wonderful last but not least!
