I absolutely loved Rain!! The music was fantastic and we couldn't help singing along!! In fact, singing alone was encouraged at various points! The costumes were phenomenal!! It was like seeing, The Beatles, several times throughout their careers! Loved it!! Just wish it was here longer so I could take my mom and grandson!

    Not to be missed!

by Gallatingirl on 5/27/15Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

Anyone of a certain age, growing up or coming of age with the Beatles music will enjoy Rain. It's a wonderful tribute to the Fab Four complete with costumes and vintage videos from back in the day. If you're not on your feet clapping and singing along it would be surprising.

My husband and I attended Rain in Chicago.!the band is spot on. Incredibly talented group of guys who are not only great singers but excellent musicians. They have it down pat. Every song takes you back and you just think they ARE the Beatlea. Reliving that era was so fun!! For anyone who loves the Beatles it's well worth it

    Absolutely amazing!!

by busmgr14 on 5/27/15Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

This show was incredible even if you are just a passing Beatles fan. The choreography was perfect. Every move was timed perfectly with the footage of the real Beatles on the backdrop screen. All the way down to insignificant head movements. Honestly, you thought you were watching and hearing the real thing. Absolutely could not have been better.

    Very Authentic!

by PharmRef on 5/27/15Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

We saw the May 21 show at Bank of America Theater from the balcony and were very impressed with the view and the acoustics from there! However, we a bit disappointed with the mix of songs and would have liked to hear a bigger set from the earliest years. I thought it was too top-heavy on the psychedelic years. That is our only negative take-away. Otherwise, would highly recommend; a full 2 hours of pure entertainment for those who miss the Beatles.

    "Rain" is great fun!

by BaboM on 5/26/15Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

I bought a ticket to "Rain" on the spur of the moment - and I didn't regret it. From the interesting backdrop images (I loved the 1960's TV commercials!) to the costume changes to the Liverpudlian accents, it was all a delight. Best of all, of course, was the music. Not only the songs, but the manner in which they were performed. The four "Beatles" were entirely believable as the actual quartet. There are various musicians who perform at different shows. For the matinee I attended, they were Jimmy Irizarry, Paul Curatolo, Alastar McNeil, and Aaron Chiazza. Irizarry and Curatolo could pass for Lennon and McCartney, respectively; McNeil and Chiazza as Harrison and Starr bore little resemblance to the real Beatles, but were fine singers and musicians. Paul always has been my favorite Beatle and Curatolo was just as likable and talented. He had Paul's mannerisms and movements down pat and displayed the same effervescence. Both he and Irizarry sounded almost exactly like their Beatle counterparts. As musicians, the three on guitar were terrific and Chiazza was great on the drums. The music went from early music to the Sgt. Pepper phase, to the Hare Krishna phase, to the revolutionary phase. Many great tunes throughout, but I was surprised that "Something" wasn't included, especially since "George" was given a few tunes to sing. I would also have liked to have heard "Ticket to Ride," which is always a great live performance.

It is the closest that we will ever come to seeing and hearing the Beatles play live. Awesome transformation from Help to Abbey Road. I brought my 8 year old daughter and she loved it as much as I did. So much fun and an awesome tribute to the most influential band of our lifetime.

    Disappointing music

by GrammiePam on 5/25/15Bank of America Theatre - Chicago

As an original, avid Beatles fan, I thought Rain just did not meet my expectations. They had good, not great, staging, with fun old films. Their costumes were the best part. The music was not the Beatles style. Tempos were too fast, they cut off the last notes of each phrase, something the Beatles never did. And they tried, but didn't exactly mimic the Beatles personal traits while performing. I've seen other Beatles tribute bands, and in comparison, Rain finishes dead last. Don't waste your money.
