  • Legends!

    by bleedgreen17 on 7/20/15Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Ghostface and Raekwon put on a performance for the ages! They played most of OB4CL including skits and even did full versions of tons of Wu-Tang classics. Epic night of two legends performing classic tracks.

Great show. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah are as good as ever. If you want a good old school rap show, these are the guys for it.

  • Rae and Ghost delivered!!

If you were looking for classic Wu-Tang at its finest this was the show to be at. Arguably the most consistent members of the Wu-Tang Clan teaming up for the greatest album of Raekwon's career and the beginning of a great partnership and brotherhood that stands the test of time. Both of these artists are still putting out relevant music that fans will enjoy. The Fly International Luxurious Art is a solid album with many cameos by newer artist but Ghost doesn't disappoint. Ghostface Killah also has new music with two albums that come out within two weeks of each other with 36 Seasons and Sour Soul. Get both if you are a Wu head like me. Support the music we became adults to!!!

  • DISAPPOINTED; RAEKWON/GHOSTFACE

by BEA44 on 7/10/15Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 1 out of 5

This was by far my worst experience going to TLA. I didn't get a chance to see RAEKWON or GHOSTFACE at all!!! By 1015pm, I was disgusted and left. there were two opening acts!! I didn't pay my money to see unknowns, I wanted to see two members of the WU!!! I'll just continue to be a fan and listen to their music on my cds and the radio. I will never see any of them live again!!! And all the smoking of the cigarettes, weed and blunts really made my experience and TLA that much more horrible.

  • 20 Opening Acts of Garbage

by ValuedFanAndCustomer on 5/2/12B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

Waited 3 hrs for any signs of Maino and by the time that happened Raekwon was only in a position to perform less than 4 songs whole, due to time constraints. This sucked to wait forever and have to survive 50 million opening acts who were generic at very best.

I really enjoyed the show. They are some of my favorite artists. I just wish my seats were better, because I couldn't take any clear pictures.

  • Wu takes forever

Overall, it was an okay experience. however We would of loved to see Raekwon the headliner t some point in the night. It seemed they over booked the opening acts. We got tired of waiting around for Raekwon to show up. He was the whole reason we wanted to got the show. So after the 9th opener we decided to leave early. Besides the belligerent clumsy people made it harder to wait. We like the venue, it had a very nice stage and layout. It just took forever to see the "The Chef" come out and rock his set.

One of the best shows I've been to by far. Some of the artists came out and mingled with the crowd, which wasn't that many people, but I didn't mind due to the fact that it was all peace, and we were able to interact with the emcees. Keith Murray was found rocking in the middle of the crowd. MC Eight was chilling by the stage and was showing love. The kids that came out and started breaking was the best part of the night. With I could have seen Shurik'n, UMC's and of course Raekwon but shorty I was with got a little too tipsy and we had to bounce. But overall, much love to D-Stroy and all the graf artists, the deejays and all the international emcees that represented and did their thing. Beautiful night for hiphop. Can't wait for the next one.

Keep in mind, this was on a Sunday night and I work. The event said it started at 7 PM. I left at midnight and did not get to see one of the 3-guests I actually came to see (Raekwon, Ultramagnetic MC's or Bushwick Bill). It is dissapointing on a Sunday night to have an event that supposedly starts at 7 yet after 5 hours doesn't get to ANY of the top acts. It would probably be different if this was Friday or Saturday, but this is just bad planning on the promoters part. The only highlight was the hype man who had some decent lines.

  • Raekwon rocked

by ABCENCE on 3/15/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5

Raekwon rocked the crowd the best he could, he brought out veterans Cappadona and Inspectah Deck. Would of liked if Ghostface showed up but its all good. Keep doing your thing Lex Diamonds.

It was his CD release party for his new album Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang. Its a great album. He played a good length set. Afterward he signed his new CD and took pictures with fans. If you are a Wu fan this is a must see show!

  • Shallah Raekwon the Chef of Wu-Tang Clan

by JaVonRice on 3/10/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5

If you're a fan of Wu-Tang or New York style MCing, then you'll enjoy Raekwon the Chef shows. I've been to four of his solo and 10 Wu-Tang Clan concerts. Raekwon puts a lot of energy into his show and takes pride in making sure the crowd gets their moneys worth.
