RAE SREMMURD IN CONCERT:
In just a few short years the brothers behind rap duo Rae Sremmurd have gone from living on the streets to rubbing shoulders with hip hop heavyweights like Nicki Minaj and Mike Will Made It. The debut single from Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy was called "No Flex Zone", though the swaggering siblings have every reason to strut their stuff -- their 2015 debut album SremmLife topped both the Rap and R&B charts, earning rave reviews and establishing them as a potent new force in hip hop. The pair's bounce-worthy live shows make good on all the hype, treating ticket buyers to amped-up performances of favorites like "No Type" and "Throw Sum Mo" that always get them moving and shaking.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy, aka Khalif and Aaquil Brown, were born and raised in Tupelo, MS. They started their posting music to sites like YouTube and Reverbnation in their late teens, and before long Southern rapper P-Nasty invited them to record with him in Atlanta. They headed to The ATL and laid down the songs "I Dip" and "We", but really made their mark when they linked up with producer Mike Will Made It for their 2014 single "No Flex Zone". That track peaked at No. 8 on the Rap Chart, leading to an official remix by Nicki Minaj and Pusha T that helped the song hit Platinum status. The brothers' rise continued in 2015 with their debut album SremmLife, a critical masterstroke that topped both the Rap and R&B charts. An electric young act with big things on the horizon, Rae Sremmurd continue to prove their mettle every time they take the stage on tour.
It was supposed to be my daughter n her friends going but at last minute I had to go with them....and enjoyed it!!!
It was great. I took my daughter and her friend for Christmas and they really enjoyed it
I paid for meet and greet and never got pics. Don't bother.
The ticket was orginally $35 then with all the fees i spent about $50. The music was okay but the vibe from everyone else was lame.it was okay just not worth $50
I have been to a couple concerts before, but this was the BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!! If you only know a couple songs of them or just like Hip-hop music, I'm positive you'll love it. The music and experience was amazing! I will defiantly go to another Rae Sremmurd concert.
The best concert I went to. Bobo swae, lil yachty was there. They definitely know how to have a fantastic concert
Best concert of my life. I would recommend this to everyone.
Easily the most hyped and wild concert I've been to. Did the Meet & Greet and these guys were very humble and cool and come show time, they turned up with energy out of this world. It was everything I expected it to be. The crowd was going bananas and Rae Sremm didn't stop moving. Not only that but they interacted with the crowd. Everyone in the front section was throwing their phones on the stage and they were taking pictures and selfies then throwing them right back at rightful owners! never experienced anything like that! They threw water in the crowd, smashed pineapples on stage, loved the energy, and honestly seemed like they enjoyed every moment of being on stage. Celebrity status aside, it's truly an experience to see performers enjoy their show just as much as the audience. Highly recommend seeing them and bring a lot of energy!
Great venue, I personally met both of them there at the venue and being able to see them up close in 3rd row was poppin. I HIGHLY point out NOT to wear nice shoes/clothes beacaue I wore my nicest pair of shoes and they got dicked but other than that most fun I ever had at a concert.
Rae sremmurd was amazing and the venue was as well. I took my middle school aged son as it was all ages. Get the VIP upgrade, it's so worth it and meeting them was awesome. Security made sure my son was safe as we were in the front row and the constant pushing forward by the teenagers in the back was problematic. The constant pushing forward was my only complaint. Rae sremmurd literally put on the best show I have ever seen.
Great energy and set list! Be prepared to get wet though if you're close to the stage
I paid 95 dollars to meet and get a picture with them. They would not let us take pistures with our phones. They did not tell us where to get our pictures!!!
The openers were actually pretty good. I was sooooo excited to see Lil Yachty & Burberry Perry come out!!! Rae Sremm turned the place upside down! The place was sooo lit! I am so grateful to have seen them and can only hope they do another tour maybe with the Migos next time!!! My only issue is that I had balcony seats and the whole show, NOBODY acknowledged the top except Lil Yachty! They kept asking the ground floor questions and stuff.
The performers themselves were amazing they all know how to make an experience but the workers at the venue had no idea what thy were doing. The workers had me standing in the wrong line for the vip meet and greet and ended up being all the way in the back of the line when I could've been 2nd in line.
I absolutely loved them. They are the definition of what you call true entertainers. Their energy was amazing, At the meet and greet events they were very down to earth and sweet. I brought them gifts and tee shirts from my line, they were more than willing to hold them up and take pics with them. The show was ssoooooo lit. I was sooo disappointed when it was over. The whole Orlando was. I wish there were only 2 acts before them opening so we could have gotten to them quicker. Every time they come to Orlando or just Florida in general I'm there. These boys truly know how to put on a show. I loved them both Jimmy was wild and funny and Swae Lee got everyone hype and had the ladies locked.
The concert was great, I really enjoyed myself and found myself dancing the majority of the time because Rae Sremmurd's energy was so infectious. They knew their audience and what songs people wanted to hear so overall, definitely a great concert.
The concert was honestly mediocre. When an artist comes on stage an hour late, rapping only a few songs that the audience knows, it's an average performance. There were many songs that they performed that were considered "new releases" and the audience really couldn't get with it because they didn't know the words. I'm not saying the concert was horrible, I'm just saying it was very mediocre.
They were lit! They definitely gave a good show. Both guys had tons of energy and interacted with the fans.
They are great performers and they know how to get the crowd involved! Would definitely see them again.
I'm honestly just not a fan of these guys. I only went to see DJ Mustard, who was supposed to open the show, but he ended up cancelling. His replacement would have been great if I were at a white person's wedding, not a college concert. Overall, do not recommend.
