Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes (Touring) Tickets

The Rockettes are amazing!! Their precision is awe inspiring and the choreography creative and exceptional! However, it seems that, for the same cost, we saw an abbreviated show. Several scenes from last year were left out and when they began the curtain call the feeling was "that's it?" (I actually heard that comment from several people around me.) Almost every scene was changed, to shorten it. Overall, it was a disappointment. No skating, no animals, no flying, no runway, etc. What was there was excellent, but there was not enough to justify the expense of the tickets. The introduction led us to expect an even better show than last year. That did not happen. I do not plan to attend next year, should the show return to Grand Rapids.

It was a wonderful show. The costumes and scenery were awesome and we especially loved the Santa Claus dance. It was our first time to see a show like this for the holidays and if we get the chance we will see it again next year. It goes without saying the dancers were fantastic.. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN!

An excellent performance, entertaining Would go back to them again

The Rockettes put on a beautiful show. Everyone in the show gave 100% I hope they come back next year, we want to make this a annual event. It was better than we expected. Everything form the Reindeer to the Nativity was top notch. The costumes were breath taking. Absolutely loved it from beginning to end!!!!! What a wonderful way to begin the holiday season!!!!!

My husband and I took our three children and their spouses. We all really enjoyed the show. The syncronization was amazing. We especially appreciated the real meaning of Christmas being emphasized and glorified, even though there wasn't a lot of dancing to that part.

The show was fabulous...my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hard work was seen by all who attended!

The Rockettes were great the show really got you in the Christmas Mood. My Kids really enjoyed it.

Saw Radio City Rockettes at Van Andel Arena. Wonderful show but would never sit in the floor seats again. Paid top dollar and had a very difficult time seeing the stage. Too bad they did not stagger the seats, viewing would have been so much better.

The Rocketts are one of the most professional shows I have every seen. Having attended both in 2008 and 2009, I did miss the live animals in the nativity that they had in their show in 2008. However, as I said, it was just great, wonderful family entertainment. It looked as though the show was sold out. I saw very few empty seats in the arena. The show was spectacular!!!!

Great show! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would most definitely see it again.

The Rockettes are a great beginning to the Holiday Season. As much as I enjoyed the show, I though last year's production (2008) was geared more to the younger generation. I missed some of the scenes this year, ie: the animals with the Nativity, the skaters. The children that I brought were looking for the scenes that I had described to them from last years production. Also, the VanAndel needs to have a better method of people getting in. Many were still in line trying to get in the doors and than to their seats. By the time we got in, the show had already begun. Overall, it was enjoyed by my group.

I attended the show last year with my 11 year old granddaughter, just she and I. Was very anxious when I head the show was returning to GR for a second season, so purchased 5 tickets so we could include all of the "girls" in our family. Much to my dismay, the show was a repeat of last year, however some of the parts from last year were removed. The show was less performance time than last year, also started about 10 minutes late. Last year there was an intermission, this year the show was so short, no intermission was needed. My "girls" were disappointed that the "santa costumes" were not part of the performance, they thought that was their "signature" costume. The dancers were great, the props that were there were great, however I don't feel it was near the show it was last year. Last year during the manager, birth of Jesus portion, there were live camels and donkey's, a site to behold. I would have to think twice before spending more than $200 on tickets again.

The show was very entertaining and the precision and skill of the Rockettes is amazing. We were slightly late for the beginning of the show because doors didn't open until 15 minutes before and it was difficult to get to our seats before the show began. Perhaps opening the doors 1/2 hour prior to show time would have helped.

My husband and I took his 94 year old mother to this show. She lived in NYC back in the 40s and had seen the show in New York. She was amazed at how it had "grown" and how wonderful the staging, backgrounds, etc. were. We all enjoyed the Rockettes and the creative staging for several of the acts. Great Show. Highly Recommended.

Brought my daughter and granddaughter to see them and it was quite a Christmas treat!

This is the first time to see the Rockettes and I had no idea what to expect. Wow was I pleasantly surprised. The girls are just awesome and the special background effects were terrific. I actually felt like I was in NYC riding on a bus. The singing was awesome and the dancing was awesome. Whole show was fantastic.

all the dancing santas was very very cool!!! as was the tour bus scene. got a bit draggy in spots but i know they had to change costumes and stuff. and the lady with the big hair in front of me didnt help especially since she kept having to make comments to her husband through out the show! over all quite good and entertaining

I took my 4 daughters to see the Rocketts for Christmas and what a wonderful time. I didn't want it to end. The precision and formations were awesome. And the costumes!!!! What a truely wonderful Holiday experience.

We attended last year and this year. Last year's show was much more stellar and grandiose, but still enjoyed this year's. The floor seating last year was better. This year no matter where you sat it was a head-blocked view--I couldn't see half the stage the entire show. Seats should be staggered/offset row to row. Last year seats were angled to the stage and it was great. Regardless--the Rockettes is a class act show and their performance is always impeccable. THANK YOU for coming to Western Michigan!!! And hats off to the VanAndel crew who help you find your seats. The few guys on the floor we encountered were very accommodating and had a great sense of humor. It's apparent they enjoy their jobs.
