Rachel Maddow Tickets

My only complaint is it was too short. I can listen to Rachel for hours! She’s amazing.

Fascinating outline of her new book,”Prequel”, as reviewed in Rachel’s own words. Maddow is as charismatic and informed in person as she appears on TV. Her study of the politics in the period mid-to-late ‘30’s and ‘40’s, and the rise of naziism and fascism, is an apt warning for today’s political climate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Rachel Maddow, a brilliant journalist and delightful personality. She never fails to stimulate our curiosity, with her insights and revelations. It was a real treat to get to see her live in Phoenix and to see so many like-minded people join us! A wonderful experience.

I could have listened to Rachel for hours! She is amazing! As for the theatre, every time I attend an event, there is a sound problem. While the one for this event wasn’t huge, it still caused Rachel to say, “ everything ok over there?” At a different event, the sound was lost for a large part of a song. Then it happened again with another song. Also, the toilet flush handles and towel dispensers are broken. If the theatre owners are going to make money for top notch events, then perhaps they could spend money to upgrade the equipment and bathrooms.

Rachael is a master at educating us about how our history tends to repeat itself. I can’t wait to read her book Prequel. I totally enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it to others.

Rachel was exactly what we expected, terrific. Ted did a nice job moderating. As Speaker Series subscribers we were disappointed there was no camera to show Rachel on the big screens. Also wondered why club section seating was closed, shoehorning the entire crowd into the lower seating area.

The best way to describe the evening with Rachel is to say it was like listening to a brilliant friend telling me stories about a time in my history that I would otherwise never have known. I have been a Rachel fan since she first came on the scene as an MSNBC contributor. I always learn so much from her. I can watch MSNBC all day long and hear similar news stories, but when Rachel comes on the same stories take on a deeper perspective that usually ties to other times and events in history. The expression, “If we don’t learn from our history, we’re doomed to repeat it,” really hits home when I watch or listen to her work. I always come away with hope for a better America because although she may be describing a tense time in our past, she shows us where our strength lies. Everyone needs Rachel in their lives! Love You, Rachel!

Rachel was amazing! She shared information on our history that I wasn't aware of. You can tell she has done a lot of research on the matter. To me, she gives us hope that we may get through these crazy MAGA times! Thank you, Rachel!

Rachel was just like she is on television. Smart, poured and yet very personable. Loved her!

Oh, seeing Rachel Maddow in person and listening to her was fantastic. She is so smart and down to earth at the same time. She covered the racists prior to WWII and made a reference to her voice sounding like Peter Brady, even singing the song "When It's Time To Change". It was hilarious. Rachel is just the best. Now for a couple of suggestions for the venue. First, why wasn't her face on the two big screens as she spoke and talked in the chairs? She was so far away and it was disappointing not to be able to see her facial expressions. Second, I am disabled and there was only one elevator working in the parking garage. The line was long and it was physically painful to wait that long. (There were three elevators in total, so it could have been much easier on all of us.) But overall seeing Rachel Maddow in person was a dream for me.

Rachel met and exceeded expectations for an intimate and thoughtful discussion about her work, especially the new book, "Prequel."Ted Simon was a great match as a moderator One disappointment --the overhead video should have been on as it is for the Az Speakers' Series. Unless the guest speaker objects, that should be standard in the venue.

What a brilliant mind! Her reputation for pure historic & current facts is so needed in this time of false reporting. She has the rare unique ability to put her research together and present it in a way that relates to current world issues. Loved her visit!

Rachel Maddow is a national treasure. I was stunned to learn how many members of Congress were Nazi collaborators. Her exposé of this history has so many lessons for today with the threat of rising authoritarianism. Thank you for an informative program.

Rachel is fantastic. She really knows how to tell a story that makes you want more. So relatable and down to earth.

What a huge gift to Santa Barbara to have Rachel Maddow coming to our town. Rachel is a genius with a bigger-than-life personality who can breakdown the noise and distractions in the political arena and display the truth with such clarity, along with her signature wit and charm. I bought tickets at the exact time they went onsale, feeling like I was buying Beatles tickets. She is a rock star of our time!

Smart, caring,funny,aware,self effacing,fearlessly factful and tactful. Never aggressive unless personally provoked, and an open invitation to discuss the facts with her when someone does. I have great respect and admiration for Rachel and am so happy that she has found so many followers from all kinds of people. And she one of our bastions of truth in our country , may she be long lived and carry the sword of truth for those who cannot.
