About

Largely regarded as a founding father of contemporary R&B, 2013 saw R. Kelly branching out, crooning alongside Lady Gaga on her hit single "Do What U Want" and performing with rapper 2Chainz on "My Story," the lead single from Kelly's 12th studio album Black Panties. Captivating ticket buyers with his sultry hits and power ballads since 1991, Kelly is the author of delirious pop culture hits like "Trapped in the Closet," which evolved from radio single to full blown rap opera. Iconic tracks like "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Ignition (The Remix)" are his calling cards, but Kelly is also a prolific writer and producer -- he famously shepherded late songstress Aaliyah's debut album Age Ain't Nothing But a Number, and produced Michael Jackson's hit "You Are Not Alone." In 2002, Kelly partnered with a rising Jay-Z for a joint record and tour titled The Best of Both Worlds, appealing to a diverse market of music fans long before Watch The Throne was born. With the much-anticipated release of his 12th studio album in 2013, Kelly has fans looking forward to a series of upcoming live concerts in 2014.

    Awful

by Jam046 on 5/14/18Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Awful show. No names opened up. R.Kelly left everyone waiting for almost a full hour...no music or anything, just staring at the curtains. When he finally hit the stage, didn't even perform for a full hour.... Giant waste of money !!

    RKelly still got it!

by Belinda864 on 5/14/18Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

The show was good. After the pre acts were done, R Kelly did not disappoint. There was about a 30 min break before he came out but afterwards, great show!

    Needed Much More!

by SER20 on 5/14/18Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

Great performance by R.Kelly, but waaayyy too short of a performance. Considering We endured an hour and a half of mindless pre-show amateur acts and another two hours waiting for him to come on stage, and he performs one -hour! NOT OK! Loved what he did, but it was sooo limited, not happy for the amount of money spent and most of my entertainment came from people who are less talented for the stage than I am. Would recommend the show only because it is R.Kelly not because this specific show was worth the money.

    Not the same R.Kelly show!!!

by LiseyJ on 5/14/18Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

    R. Kelly's memory lane tour was supposed to start at 7:30pm, his first appearance on stage was 9:45pm. R. Kelly had no dancers or props, the coliseum didn't have the screens on for people who were far from the stage. I went to the R. Kelly love letter tour and LOVED it but this was far from that. There were threats of protests before the show, but we all showed up and waited for Kellz. When he hit the stage, the show was okay. It was nice to sing along with the hits we all love!!

    Not what I paid for!

by D434QTE on 5/14/18Greensboro Coliseum Complex - Greensboro

The tickets were sold with the impression there would be a catwalk for R. Kelly to walk down. So I bought tickets right beside it. There was no catwalk false advertising. Local acts performed for 2 hrs and R. Kelly performed for 45 mins. Never been so disappointed before. I have been to many shows of his this was the first time I was disappointed.
