QUEENSRYCHE IN CONCERT:
For more than three decades, progressive metal veterans Queensryche have been pushing the genre’s boundaries with their ambitious sound and electrifying performances on tour. At their staggering live shows the band takes the stage in all black, delivering powerful rock anthems like “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman” beneath a giant banner bearing their signature peregrine falcon-likeTri-Ryche logo. Former Crimson Glory singer Todd La Torre joined Queensryche in 2012 and the band hasn’t missed a beat since, thrilling fans with extensive touring tirelessly and a return to the studio in 2015. Whether they’re rocking out to early favorites or playing cuts from their self-titled 2013 album, Queensryche always treats ticket buyers to an unforgettable concert experience full of potent tunes, virtuosic musicianship, and classic metal showmanship.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Queensryche formed in Bellevue, WA in 1982 from the ashes of local band The Mob. They received an early break when UK rock mag Kerrang! got wind of their demos and wrote a glowing review. The growing buzz in both the UK and the US led to impressive sales for their 1983 debut EP, and the following year the band released their debut album The Warning to a spot on the Billboard 200. Following a tour with Kiss the band released their 1986 sophomore album Rage for Order, a gold-certified outing that showcased a more polished rock sound. The band reached the pinnacle of their success in 1990 with the album Empire, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the Top 10 rock hits “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman”. Since then Queensryche has weathered numerous lineup changes while continuing to release records and tour with metal mainstays like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. In 2012 former Crimson Glory singer Todd La Torre joined Queensryche, and he continues to helm the band as they bring their distinctive brand of metal-infused power balladry to fans around the world on tour.

they were awesome. best concert ever. they were cool
They were amazing to watch. Absolutely great. I loved watching them play. Parker was a plus too. If they play in New Jersey again you can bet that my father and I will be there!!! What a show!!! Terrfic
Queensryche was in great form! I didn't even realize it was a 3 album concert, so I was pleased to hear Rage for Order, live, in its entirety.
As a fan from the 80's. I have seen them many times. They have NEVER let me down. Always a great show. Geoff Tate's voice is incredible my favorite singer by far!
Great show by Queensryche - I have seen them many times since the eighties and they never disappoint. I don't think Geoff Tate has ever hit a bad note in his life. This tour featured material from three albums, I wasn't familiar with the new military -themed CD but loved hearing the older music that doesn't get played too often. I would love to catch them again the next time they come around - just amazing musicians.
I have been going to Queesryche shows since 1984 and they just get better and better. The song choices for this one were dead on awesome! I can't wait til they come back again!
Queensryche was excellent in concert! 2+ hours of playing with very little breaks between songs. Every song sounded amazing. Geoff's voice is excellent! One of the most impressive concerts that we've been to. Some people complained at the concert due to a third of the songs coming from their new American Soldier album. Apparently those people did not read the name of the concert. The concert was advertized as music from three specific albums. The complainers were wanting music from other albums. I can't wait for another opportunity to see Queensryche!
Wow--This band never ceases to amaze me! I have been following the Ryche since 1984 and their concerts never get old. I love the fact that everyone in the audience knows every word to the old songs! I never miss their show and hopefully never will!
This is a band worth the money. In fact, they are very reasonable with what they charge for a ticket. I wasn't thrilled at first to know they were going to do a whole bunch of the new songs, but it was really good. I've seen about 15 times now and I always leave saying that I had a blast. They are coming back to Jersey in October and once again I'll be there.
Excellent, close-up venue. Band was outstanding, but I was very disappointed they didn't play "Silent Lucidity" since it's one of their best songs and few ballads. Recommend sending this survey sooner, rather than 2 months after the concert.
I remember seeing Queensryche back in the 80's when I was a teenager. They were fantastic then and they are even better now. Geoff's voice, stage performance, and interaction witht the crowd is still amazing. This band still cares about there fans and makes sure they get every pennies worth.
Very good show, with a very clean sounding group. They are one of my fav. bands love um since the mid 80,s.
QUEENSRCYHE!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw them for my 42nd and 43rd Times. Every time I see them they just keep getting better. Seeing them two nights in a row was worth it. They changed the set list and I was able to catch basically every song from all three albums contained within their suites. Queensryche is the best band around and I am going again on 10/18 and 10/20 in NC. My 44th and 45th shows. I will go to see them perform whenever I can for as long as I can. My goal is to get to 50.
