QUEENSRYCHE IN CONCERT:

For more than three decades, progressive metal veterans Queensryche have been pushing the genre’s boundaries with their ambitious sound and electrifying performances on tour. At their staggering live shows the band takes the stage in all black, delivering powerful rock anthems like “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman” beneath a giant banner bearing their signature peregrine falcon-likeTri-Ryche logo. Former Crimson Glory singer Todd La Torre joined Queensryche in 2012 and the band hasn’t missed a beat since, thrilling fans with extensive touring tirelessly and a return to the studio in 2015. Whether they’re rocking out to early favorites or playing cuts from their self-titled 2013 album, Queensryche always treats ticket buyers to an unforgettable concert experience full of potent tunes, virtuosic musicianship, and classic metal showmanship.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Queensryche formed in Bellevue, WA in 1982 from the ashes of local band The Mob. They received an early break when UK rock mag Kerrang! got wind of their demos and wrote a glowing review. The growing buzz in both the UK and the US led to impressive sales for their 1983 debut EP, and the following year the band released their debut album The Warning to a spot on the Billboard 200. Following a tour with Kiss the band released their 1986 sophomore album Rage for Order, a gold-certified outing that showcased a more polished rock sound. The band reached the pinnacle of their success in 1990 with the album Empire, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the Top 10 rock hits “Silent Lucidity” and “Jet City Woman”. Since then Queensryche has weathered numerous lineup changes while continuing to release records and tour with metal mainstays like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. In 2012 former Crimson Glory singer Todd La Torre joined Queensryche, and he continues to helm the band as they bring their distinctive brand of metal-infused power balladry to fans around the world on tour.

  • Amazing!

by DJB on 8/19/25Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

This was an amazing show to see. They really do bring you back to when guitars ruled the airwaves. They were very engaging with the audience when they are performing. I will definitely go to see them live again.

  • Could not have been better!

    by H.H. on 8/18/25Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Queensryche with Ace Frehley on August 15th at Choctaw Casino in Durant, OK. Had front row center seats and the entire show was amazing! Every song the band played was performed with the perfection and intensity and wouldn't have expected any less! Todd's vocals were spot on! Excellent!

  • Awesome show

I was a little nervous because Geoff Tate is no longer the singer for Queensryche. I must say that the bank found an excellent replacement. Queensryche kicked ass, great show.

  • Good fun with great music

    by Nuggie82 on 8/18/25Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

All of band worked hard to bring the rock! Thought maybe sound system could have been tweaked, but they played so many great songs! Some feedback and drums somehow overpowered 3 guitars IMO. Really like the Choctaw venue, good sound quality.

  • Great

They did need to play few more songs (old and new). I like the new stuff from the Todd La Torre era.

  • Great show! Definitely on top of their game

by jldsooner on 8/18/25Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

This show consisted of Ace Frehley and Queensryche in a double bill. Both played for an hour. Both bands brought it! I saw Ace earlier this year. He played well then but was really sharp for this show. The band supports him well and they all have great interactions. As for Queensryche, they played all the classic hits you would expect. Casey Grillo was on drums and is a native of Enid, Oklahoma. He did great! Todd Latorre was great on vocals as well. All in all, a seasoned band at the top of their game.

  • Amazing concert! Would recommend anyone see them live!

Queensryche was amazing experience! They played so well and my wife and I were blown away by their talent. Much appreciated!

  • Old Queensrÿche songs

by Diamond Dave on 8/4/25IP Casino Resort and Spa - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5

Start to finish, the band did not disappoint! Old Queensrÿche songs sounded great! Even take hold of the flame wasn’t half bad.

  • Was not impressed

by Elvira on 7/29/25Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel - MortonRating: 1 out of 5

I was not impressed with this concert at all. The drums and bass drowned out the vocals so bad that I couldn't hear one word of what they were singing. It was also so loud that you could hear it at least 3 blocks from the building. I get that it's a concert but it doesn't have to be so loud to enjoy it. We walked out after the 3rd song.

  • Absolutely Amazing!!!

by OZ on 7/29/25Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel - MortonRating: 5 out of 5

They were in top form!! Loved that they played some old ones this time around. Same goes for Great White!! The sound was loud and crisp!! Great venue for a concert!!

  • Awesome night of Rock

by Rock God on 7/22/25Sunset Station Outdoor Amphitheater - HendersonRating: 5 out of 5

Steven got a great singer better than Axle and it hurts to say that. Mark Slaughter lost weight, looks good and sounded great. Queensryche lead singer is phenomenal All three bands were great and the venue was awesome. Rare fun night of Rock.

I never miss a chance to see queensryche. they are one of my favorite bands of all time. they always deliver a great show. saw them at another venue then and I was amazed at how awesome they were. one of the best concerts I have ever seen. and I have been to a lot of concerts. no exception this time at sunset station. the sound was incredible and they look as good as they perform. can't wait to see them again. I only wish they would play the lady wore black. one of my favorite songs ever.

  • Sound was terrible

by Mr Flibble on 7/22/25Sunset Station Outdoor Amphitheater - HendersonRating: 1 out of 5

Sound was fine for Steven Adler. Completely muffled for Slaughter, and the only thing you could hear for Queensryche was Todd trying to scream over the bass that sounded like 1000 blown out speakers. Worst sound for a concert I have ever experienced. I've seen Queensryche 15 times and nothing was ever even close to this bad. I will absolutely not ever go to a concert at Sunset Station again.

  • Fantastic

Love this band live they are amazing every time for decades of good shows.

  • Excellent Show!

by KatS on 7/15/25Great Canadian Casino Vancouver - CoquitlamRating: 5 out of 5

This was a really great show. All the great songs I love were included in the set list. The theater was a smaller, more intimate setting with great seats and good views and sound at every seat. What was so amazing is how much the band interacted with the crowd. They were so great at fist bumps with the people in the "pit", taking audience cameras up on stage and filming themselves and the crowd and just in general interacting with us all. We felt like we were really special and the band appreciated us all for showing up! I would see Queensryche again!

  • Great show, pro sound.

by Kilroypr on 5/22/25Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I have followed them since I was a kid, never thought that at this stage in life I would have the chance to see them like this. Great show and performance, what a shame that the venue did not fill up, they deserved it and even more.

  • Fantastic evening

by R.Johnson on 5/19/25Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

I've always really liked them but had never seen them live. Wow, what a great show. They sounded excellent, didn't miss a beat. I loved the venue too, small great acoustics. I will be watching for them to come back to see them again.

  • Far Beyond Amazing

    by T-Con on 4/16/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Best concert that I’ve seen in 30 years! Been long time fan since late ‘80’s! This is by far my favorite band of all time! The concert in Cincinnati on April 12, 2025; was a great show with great acoustics at the Taft Theatre. Geoff Tate’s voice rocked on and on and I wish would never end! The opening band an Irish collective was impressive and jaw dropping. Love both bands but obviously my favorite is Queensryche! They will always live on forever!!!

  • Amazing

by Queensryche on 4/9/25Belterra Casino Resort and Spa - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

It was the first time we had been to Belterra Casino for a concert. The venue was amazing. Queensryche was absolutely great. I would absolutely go to concert there again.
