We had an awesome time! The band and atmosphere was great!
They lived up to their name. They did songs that Queen has never done live. It was a truly great show. Must see.
Hi energy great voice entertaining wish it was longer
Wow what a Great Show! So many Hits one right after the other and the Energy was Awsume!!! Such Strong Lead Vocals are a must and they Delivered! And to my amazement the Drummer breaks into song and his voice was incredible too! They packed a ton of talent on the stage and delivered with great showmanship! The Show does go on and Freddie would be pleased!
Sometimes the drums and guitar player drowned out the singer and was unable to understand the words of the singer. LOVED the songs, singer was quite good and talented as were the drummer and lead guitar player. Enjoyed the show
I found out about personnel changes after I bought my tickets, so I didn't know what to expect. Well, I had a lot of fun. The show was great and the harmony vocals were amazing!
The Queen Extravaganza was Everything I hoped it would be. Honestly with ticket prices nowadays it's a no brainer seeing professional Cover bands for a third of the cost of seeing original band. In addition I get to hear All the bands Greatest hits!! Absolutely beats seeing an original band whose singer can no longer hit the notes and hearing the most dreaded sentence from any band circa 1970/1980's "here's something off our new album"! The Queen Extravaganza played every Queen song I wanted to hear, had intense energy and the Lead singer, from Brazil, was unbelievable hitting every note perfectly!! And the Lead guitarist was phenomenal!!
I was a little skeptical of seeing a band that copies Queen music, especially after seeing Adam Lambert play with Queen a few years ago. But, these guys are really good!!!! They didn't try to copy Queen in the "show" area, they just did a fantastic job of playing Queen music faithful to the original. Between the Lead singer and the Drummer, they honored the original extremely well. I brought my 26 and 16 year old daughters - they both enjoyed the evening. For the money - excellent value - played for over 2 hours.
show was disappointing, singer was just okay. keyboard player and bass player looked like statues. would not go see this again
Not Queen by any means but really good entertainment My girlfriend is a diehard Queen fan and had never seen them so I got tickets for Queen Extravaganza for a birthday gift and she said she had one of the best times of her life.
Fabulous show! The musicians were totally spot on, and I can't say enough about the vocals, truly amazing! Set choices were really well thought out, although something off the first album would've completed it. I would definitely see this show again, the Oakdale is always a great venue!!
Queen Lives! Thanks to these wonderful musicians! Lead singer, lead guitar and the band made sure they capture Queen's essential sound. The lead guitar was phenomenal as he played a replica of Brian May's original and sounded the same. Not a note was missed and the group even did Bohemian Rhapsody in its entirety! Awesome!!!!
I've been to a Queen concert with the original band. When I got the tickets for this show, I thought it would be a good but wasn't expecting too much since it wasn't the original band. This show was AMAZING!! The band was great and they played all the songs I wanted to hear. The lead singer had so much energy and was absolutely exceptional!! The show crossed many generations from really young children to the "older" young at heart that grew up with this music. My daughter and I were blown away. If and when they come back - we'll be there!
The whole evening was fantastic! Oakdale is the perfect venue for this concert! Queen Extravaganza was beyond our expectations!! From ordering the tickets to leaving the venue. Thank you.
I had never seen Queen live in concert, except for the occasional video of a past performance. The performers were excellent, playing the songs sufficiently close to the album versions that we like to hear and remember. I recognized about two-thirds of the songs played (which was about as much as I guessed I would). The staging was simple, the sound was good (perhaps just a hair too loud for me) -- it was a good show.
Didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Great time. Will see again.
First time to hear QUEEN music LIVE and it was unreal. All the band members are extremely talented. No one showed the other up and the audience fell in LOVE with the music, memories and more!
Entertainment was great, but the volume was so turned up that we wanted to leave. Ended up moving to the last row in the Oakdale and it made it slightly better. Would have so loved this more if the volume wasn't out of control.
After seeing this show back in 2013, I was excited to bring the wife and daughter along. Gone are the multi-media elements that helped make the original show, along with lead singer Marc Martel, such a hit. This was a straight forward tribute band and for my $50 ticket, not worth the price of admission. The guitar was up much too loud, creating feedback and drowning out the lead singer, who had some stage presence, but let's face it, when you're doing the Queen catalog, you need to have a better front man. The bassist wore a shiny jacket, but that was really it for him, he was stationary in the back. Drummer was very good, taking lead on a few vocals. A drum solo from a tribute band is really unwarranted too. The feedback gave my daughter a headache and she and my wife left at intermission.
