Great venue, weather, and entertainment. I would definitely recommend attending this event.

Norman Brown was good, but his guitar was slow, and he talked too much. When you go to a concert you want to hear the music and not much talk from the artist. Please bring back Brian Culbertson, he is the best showman in the Jazz industry now.

Would rather see 3 bands with longer sets than 4 bands with compressed sets

This was my first time going to the jazz festival. I loved it so much I made a vow to go every year from now on!!!!!

Overall, it was another good Charlotte Jazz Festival! Norman Brown performed with tremendous energy and put on a great show just as he always does and the Rippingtoms were fantastic. Darnell Taylor was unknown to me, but after hearing him play guitar, I look forward to seeing him again. As far as Kindred and the Family Soul are concerned, they seemed out of place at this event and there are countless other jazz warm up bands who would have been a better choice. I would not pay money to see them on their own. Frankly, Will Downing put me to sleep with his constant chatter and repetitive lyrics. I was thankful when he left the stage. Finally, we saw and heard way too much from the local DJ's. Their endless banter on the stage and useless attempts to pump up the crowd could have been easily replaced by good jazz background music in between sets. Where is the Jazz Diva when you really need her?

The concert was beautiful but the tickets are misleading. ..it says parking is free but we had to pay 10 bucks

The event overall was great. The performers did an excellent job! It wasn't true jazz for the most part, but still great music. As was expected all of the food and drinks were rediculously expensive. Even more than I thought they would be on the high side for this venue. We still managed to have a good time.

I have attended this event every year and it is Jazz done Right. I travel to several jazz events yearly and none are better. Very organized and elite entertainment. A perfect combination *****

This venue is beautiful! The vendors are expensive, but I expected that. The show was AMAZING!!!!! We had a blast!
