Event hough it was hotter than hell, the venue did their best to keep people alive and well. I was impressed by how quickly medical staff were there to help whenever an incident occurred. And shout out to the guy spraying people down with a hose. He was the real MVP. While I was not a fan of either L.I.F.T. or The Front Bottoms, Welshley Arms and Marina City started the day off well. Once things moved to the large stage, the shows became incredible. Bishop Briggs was amazing, The Neighborhood was energetic and good, I found out just how much I loved Bush at Piqniq and Dashboard Confessional was surprisingly right up my alley. Not only did my love for Briggs and Bush strengthen, but a new love for Dashboard developed. That's the sign of a good festival. Then there was Awolnation, and I have zero words to describe how incredible they were. Easily the best show I have ever been to. I plan on going to as many of their shows as I possibly can. Overall, great festival and I can't wait until next year! (Just no more Front Bottoms or bands who are going to chant their own names like LIFT did... because no one else was...)

The show was great! The weather was hot but plenty of water stations. Bush was fantastic just wish Greta Van Fleet wouldn’t have canceled their set.

I cannot articulate the disappointment about Greta Van fleet not playing. They were the only reason I purchased tickets

Great show! Lots of fun! Staff was on top of the heat and keeping up with those who got too hot.

We drove 3 hours from Michigan and spent money on a hotel to come and see Greta Van Fleet play. Although, when we got there and saw a different bands set up on stage we then looked up the line up online to see that the drummer hurt his wrist so they wouldn't be playing. Totally understandable and not the Venue's fault that he hurt his wrist. But the problem is they knew this two days prior and did not advertise the change at all. They could have sent out a mass email, like the one I got that prompted me to write this review explaining the change. Or they could have had it posted at the venue site letting people know- but they didn't do that either. The lady who ended up playing in their place had a good voice but we weren't able to make out any of the words she was signing so we left after her act as we didn't know anyone else in the line up. When we asked if we could have a refund they said no because it wasn't the main act who canceled. Overall really disappointed.

Honestly I've been trying to like HCA in tinley. I continually try and give it a chance by attending shows there but honestly the lineup for this event was subpar when Greta cancelled and there was no replacement. Summerfest is in the area book one of those bands, American authors was in town or an aftershow have them play. There wasn't a lot of shade in the 95 degree whether but I commend livenation for lowering the cost of water, giving out free water and spraying people down. The Promised water stations all over the venue were missing minus the water fountains. The topping on my awful experience was when purchasing chicken tenders and an alcoholic beverage my credit was swiped twice. When checking my bank account and bringing it to the attention of management they laughed at first asking if I didn't buy two things. No, I didn't. They checked the Point of sale systems at both stands starting I was in the transactions twice and that if there were further problems call them Monday. This is how I planned to spend a holiday fighting for a $30 overcharge

Loved that venue was willing to update their policy of what was allowed in due to the heat. WKQRX team was out there working the crowd between the awesome artists. My family and i enjoyed listening to well known artists and the up and comers that came from our own back yard and across the country.

What a complete joke of a festival. Greta Van Fleet pulled out and we were left to listen to subpar bands at an expensive price.
