  • Awesome!

    by Amanda O on 6/13/19Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I love this guy - we have watched his YouTube videos for years. I got the tickets as a surprise for my husband who just loves his voice. We were not disappointed. Puddles went through the balcony and shook hands with everyone, to the back rows, all the way to the front ❤️ We were lucky enough to be in the first row of regular seats. He is clever, hilarious, and has an amazing voice. Definitely see him again.

  • Puddles Plays the Pantages

    by A.J. on 6/12/19Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

A broken-hearted "silent clown" who sings sad songs and makes you laugh doing it may be a little hard to explain to those who have never seen/heard this gentle giant with the amazing voice, but it works. Have you ever heard the lyrics to Pinball Wizard sung to the tune of Folsom Prison Blues? Fans of Puddles Pity Party have! Then if you stick around after the show you can get a picture with Puddles WARNING: if you are not a very tall person you will look like you are standing in a hole! HaHaHa

  • My Favorite Show in a Looonnng Time!

by Sid on 6/12/19Pantages Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Without speaking a single word, Puddles had us in his palm the entire evening! He started before the show even began by going up and down all the aisles and shaking hands or high-diving everyone he could reach and gives people in wheelchairs. <3 He blended so much comedy into his show that there were numerous genuine belly laughs. The range of emotions he evoked from each of us was astounding. His voice alone is pure velvet....truly amazing. His singing alone would’ve been worth going for. But he ad wit so much more of an experience. It was a night I’ll never forget. We love you, Puddles!

It was great night for me, and the 4 others that came with me. Puddles is extremely entertaining. This is the 2nd time we saw him, and he gets better each time. You could just feel all the energy in the room when he appeared.

  • Puddles is Perfect. The venues sound system not so good

    by L. F. on 6/2/19Rio Theatre - Santa CruzRating: 4 out of 5

Wow, this was my first time at a Puddles Pity Party. I became aware of Puddles through a group called Post Modern Jukebox. I am so weary of auto tuned voices, and my husband and I just wanted to hear some "real singing" for a change, and we were definitely curious if Puddles could "deliver the goods" live. Well, we were not disappointed, because he delivered the goods and more. I won't go into the full details here but it is clear he respects and values his audience and gives 100% to his performance. He has a strong clear baritone that's he is totally in control of, and uses very effectively. The only downside to the performance in Santa Cruz California was that the venue's sound system was not as good as it should be, which didn't do Puddle's voice justice. Bottom line, if you are interested in seeing and hearing Puddles you will have a delightful time!

  • Puddles Rules

    by J. on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second Puddles show and it was as wonderful as the first. A terrific performer who knows how to get his audience involved. Consider me a true fan.

  • Strange and fascinating

    by E. F. on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 3 out of 5

Puddles can sing. He is physically giant. And he is a sad clown that is never out of character, constantly present. There is no joke. He’s just sad clown. I’m fascinated with the human behind this clown. But I would have much preferred the show had it been more of a musical performance with a live band. Instead, it was clown stuff and karaoke. The crowd seemed to love it though.

  • The venue was the problem

by Disappointed on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 2 out of 5

Puddles is supremely talented, but The Rose left a lot to be desired. Every other time I've been to The Rose, the food was excellent and the experience was wonderful. This time, our table was in a location blocked by a speaker stack and the multimedia screen behind the stage was invisible. The food was terrible. My Prime Rib was half fat and gristle, and there was something going on between the opening act and the lighting director - the performer kept asking for lights to be turned up, and the lights were instead turned down. There was very little light on the table. I could barely see my food and it was difficult to tell which was beef and which was fat and gristle. When I finished I had a pile of fat on my plate which I didn't even want to bring home to my dog. This experience was diametrically opposite to the other experiences I have had at The Rose.

  • The show was fantastic!

    by E. S. on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

From beginning to end Puddles Pity Party exceeded my expectations! Not really knowing what he was gonna bring to the show, it really blew us away from the interaction with the crowd to his song selections I was more than entertained Puddles not only is the real deal singing but his show is phenomenal I can’t wait to see him again, we loved every minute of it!

  • Unbelievable will never miss Puddles when he comes again.

by Jack on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing show. So frigging talented. I loved it. Talk about originality and raw emotion from a guy in a clown suit that makes you laugh, tugs at your heart string and entertains magnificently.

  • Too long, even for fans

    by R. P. on 5/21/19The Rose - PasadenaRating: 2 out of 5

I’m a pretty big fan of Puddles from his album and singles and of course his Postmodern Jukebox videos. However, I had to leave after the third or fourth (ten minutes each) audience interaction I had enough of the mime bits that didn’t really go anywhere. There didn’t seem to be a narrative through-line for all of the bits that he did and very few of his bits had any payoff, relying on sheer awkwardness to propel his comedy. If you’re into alienation, you may love his live performance. If you like his music, it may be a bit of a slough. At a whopping 1.75+hr (I left at an hour and forty five) the show is nothing to scoff at in terms of duration. Puddles, I love you. I hope you’re happy with your shoe and your audience is happy as well. For me, I’m not going to the next one.

  • Mesmerising

by Px on 5/20/19The Canyon Agoura Hills - Agoura HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the vibe, low tech sentimental videos/visuals, dignified and positive audience related interactions. Lovely low brow multi layered production. Kudos Puddles for a singular art experience that I’m still thinking about days later.

Great intimate venue. The whole Puddles experience is like no other. Very entertaining show, audience inclusive, and that VOICE! The entire evening is not what you’d expect, in the best possible way.

  • Puddles at Ceasar's

by Samma on 5/8/19Cleopatra’s Barge at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Bought the VIP Experience because Vegas! The pre-show was very sweet and intimate, like the coffee shop videos he posts frequently. The venue was a nice sized room, and i was happy to be upgraded to front row seats. Sound and visual systems were excellent, and Puddles put on an excellent, crowd pleasing show. I'm happy I went.
