    Disappointing

by Lawdogman on 8/26/19House of Blues Cleveland presented by Cricket Wireless - Cleveland

I was extremely disappointed in this show. The musicians were very good, albeit rather undynamic. I found the billing confusing. Show was to start at 8:00 PM and th billing made it sound as though there would be an opener that was a RUSH cover band, followed by a cover band playing a variety of classic prog rock. When I entered at 7:55, Tom Sawyer (by RUSH) was already playing (ahead of the schedule provided). The same band then started cycling through other classic rock. Is Jimmy Hendrix really considered prog rock??? Great song, nonetheless. Not sure if the opener canceled, or what, but this is not what I signed up for. The House of Blues was absolutely dead. The bathroom attendant said they sold 40 tickets and gave away 2,000. The place was deserted. I left after 4 songs. I will be more selective and do more research in the future.

    Prob nation show

by B. D. on 6/4/19MGM Northfield Park - Neon Room (formerly Club Velvet) - Northfield

Venue was pretty nice. Seating was good. However the show was another story. This was the first time I had seen the band and expected some more popular progressive music than what I heard.. The band played some fairly obscure music, except for several Moody Blues songs. Band was very friendly after the event. Another problem.. The minute the band was over, everybody was pretty much bum rushed out of the venue. It was not even 10pm yet. What’s up with that?.
