BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Prism formed in Vancouver in 1977, releasing their self-titled debut album that same year to considerable critical and commercial success. In 1979 the group scored another commercial success with their third album Armageddon, which went double platinum and garnered them Group of the Year at the 1981 Juno Awards. A string of successful albums followed during the decade, spawning hits like "Young and Restless", "Turn on Your Radar", and their first US Top 40 hit "Don't Let Him Know". Despite lineup changes over the years, the group has retained their distinct rock sound, continuing to release material throughout the '90s and thrilling fans in 2008 with the album Big Black Sky -- their first in more than a decade.
