PRISM IN CONCERT:

Canadian band Prism continue to rock the Great White North with their anthemic tunes and electrifying performances. The group rose to prominence with a string of '70s hits that sound as fresh as ever at their nostalgic live shows, where fans raise lighters to the sky as guitar solos fill the air. Whether they're "Flyin'" or giving fans a "Night to Remember," these veteran rockers never fail to have fans dancing in the aisles on their electrifying tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Prism formed in Vancouver in 1977, releasing their self-titled debut album that same year to considerable critical and commercial success. In 1979 the group scored another commercial success with their third album Armageddon, which went double platinum and garnered them Group of the Year at the 1981 Juno Awards. A string of successful albums followed during the decade, spawning hits like "Young and Restless", "Turn on Your Radar", and their first US Top 40 hit "Don't Let Him Know". Despite lineup changes over the years, the group has retained their distinct rock sound, continuing to release material throughout the '90s and thrilling fans in 2008 with the album Big Black Sky -- their first in more than a decade. Prism continue to treat rock fans with career-spanning sets on their unforgettable tours.

  • Great Night Out

by Kinner on 11/3/25Club Regent Event Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

Haywire was ok. Not sure what was going on with the singer when he left in the last song…. Prism was great! Loved the new members, all amazing musicians. Al brought it to a new level as usual! Great live band. Great sound, great venue and an amazing staff that is always so helpful and welcoming.

Haywire & Prism were great. Original members (other than Haywire’s frontman) and a very entertaining evening.

  • Took me back to the 70’s

Egg Sellent Show They played all of their hits opening with Spaceship Superstar, of course! With 4 part harmonies, it took me back to the original sound of the band in the 70’s, and Al Harlow did an amazing job doing both lead vocals and lead guitar Great sounding right from the first song

  • Harlequin and Prism - Excellent entertainment!

by Margie on 1/18/24River Cree Resort & Casino - EnochRating: 5 out of 5

Harlequin and Prism were both very enjoyable and still very talented musicians. Excellent concerts and venue! Lot's of friendly staff and patrons! ONLY drawback is Ticket Master not releasing two seats out of a row of 3 when online buying of tickets! I get not wanting to leave seats in between but when it's down to 3 remove that feature! However, when I bought via telephone the agent was very friendly and competent & waited on line until my tickets were bought and paid for! Thanks for a fun night out!

  • wanted to love them

by jer on 8/11/23Rating: 3 out of 5

CLE Thunder Bay venue Aug 9th 2023. Band was a fav from my youth, they did their best but just an old group now. Al was energetic and acrobatic. It just seemed the sound was off, not crisp. Out of sync at times, missed some of the lyrics. Congrats to being inducted into Canada's Rock of Fame!

  • Good but too loud!

by StorageGeekGirl on 10/7/21Century Casino - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

Prism and their opening band were great - but why so loud? There is a low ceiling and not the best of acoustics in the room. The opener was ok, could make out the music but they really turned it up for Prism and the result was distortion and a poor experience
