Priscilla Queen of the Desert at the Amaturo Theater is an outstanding show...the music is fantastic, the costumes, the set, all gel together to tell a story. The actors were spot on and the singing was pitch perfect. The show is fun, hilarious and poignant. Best show ever!
The Productions that I've seen by Slow Burn have always been amazing. Priscilla was amazing. The Set and the Costumes were just like the movie. It was a fun time. I can't wait to see them do Kinky Boots one year.
We expected a fun evening and this did not disappoint. From the first song to the end, we had huge smiles on our faces. The costuming was over the top, the acting, especially Bernadette, outstanding, the music, songs, dancing, had us bopping in our seats and clapping along. Amazing and such a fun evening! I am ready to see it again!! DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!
Excellent production! Every once in a while a show comes along that is pure entertainment and this is one of those shows.
What a delightful experience of theatrical performance art. We had such a pleasant evening of colorful and outrageous, over the top merriment that had us laughing and singing along with great exuberance. The cast was certainly up to the task of entertaining us and they did not disappoint. The costumes were glittering and glamorous, while dancing up a storm that was thrilling. Filled with highest of energy and happiness, we left wanting more. I was exhausted just watching all the exuberant energy the cast exuded. The Slow Burn Theater gave us the full treatment and as a member of the cast of Lips Dinner Theater, I was proud we were associated with this production. Bravo!

The cast was amazing. The costumes, the choreography, the music, the acting---absolutely fabulous! The most fun musical we have ever been to: ever! The cast obviously love the musical since they poured such joy and wonder and passion into every single moment. The message of acceptance was also nicely woven into the wonderful tapestry of Priscilla.
The show was fabulous!! The acting, singing, dancing, costumes, lighting and sound were on point. We were very impressed with the show. The theater is also great, just the right size, great viewing from all seats. Highly recommend Slo Burn Theater.

This musical production brought back the magic, joy and laughter of the original movie version. Each costume was genius . The dancing, acting and singing were at the highest level of professionalism. The entire experience, for me, was bittersweet. I would have loved to share this play with all my friends and family that died from AIDS
Excellent show! It captured everything from the movie to make it spectacular. One of the best shows we have seen in a while. The whole cast did a fabulous job. I would see it again and again!a Wonderful performance!!!!!!!!
loved the show and the audience though the sound could've been better! i think we missed a lot of the spoken banter between the actors.
Full Disclosure: I am a huge PQOTD Fan ever since the movie release in 1994. I have seen the movie too many times to mention, saw it on Broadway in NYC and most recently at the Slow Burn Theater at the Broward Center. I was enthralled that the costumes were as fabulous on stage as they were in the movie. I even liked the changes in the music from the original. We were in the 3rd row and it was rewarding to be so close to see the performers up-close and personal. The full cast worked seamlessly together filling in for each others roles while doing the costume changes. I highly recommend it if you want an afternoon or Joy, Happiness, Fun Music & Dance, with a little camp - and the undeniable message of Love and Kindness to each other and how each family can look different but still Love the same.
It was SO good, Iām going back Thursday. A GREAT experience!

This play was absolutely adorable! The actors, dancing, music, set, and costumes were a festival for the eyes and hears. The plot and theme are also great for the heart and the mind.
THE WHOLE PLAY WAS AMAZING. THE CHOREOGRAPHY. THE MUSIC. THE CUSTOMS. THE ACTORS. IT WAS WELL PLAYED. THE WHOLE DIRECTING WAS MESMERIZING. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WHOLE STAFF FOR AN UNFORGATTABLE NIGHT.
Great theater piece based on the movie. It made me smile, laugh, cry and sing.
