The cast was remarkable!! More geared for the baby-boomer age group; however, the disco music was most enjoyable.

    Just Plain Fun

by GrandpaLK on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

Colorful and fun. Like being at Mardie Gras in San Francisco. Great costums, witty dialogue, and perfectly matched songs with each scene. Parents should think twice before bringing a child under the age of 12 - 14 or so.

    Priscilla is the Queen

by mrfive on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

Finally Broadway has a musical that is pure fun, and not for the Disney set. Great music, costumes and book. A bit different from the London version, but great just the same!

    Priscilla - it's a 10, double 10's!

by kazoo3 on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

Hard to say what was better, the costumes, the chorus boys/girls, Priscilla the bus, the ping pong balls or Nick Adams' legs - will HAVE to come back again and again to make sure.

    Priscilla was a fun trip!

by BabyBoomer777 on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

This show does not hold back but never misses it's mark. The singing, acting, and costumes are near perfection. I think it is going to be a very hot ticket and will enjoy a long run on Broadway. I recommend it to all adults. Just don't take you little ones. Show has some strong sexual inference. Try to sit no further than mid orchestra. Because of the over-hang in this theater you will miss some of the stage happenings if you sit further back . For this show Mez and balcony are the best for viewing.

A great show with lots of singable tunes and vibrant costumes/sets. This is a show about "family" in every sense of the word. Great show for adults and teens.

This was by far one of the BEST shows I've ever seen on Broadway, from the cast, the sets and the costumes, everything was absoutley perfect in every sense of the word. The music is incredible and the performances outstanding! You will LOVE this show and laugh til you cry! I highly recommend it! The entire audience was up dancing with the cast for the finale, fun, fun, fun!

    Pricilla Queen of the Desert

by Dan69 on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

I enjoyed the show for what is: a Bette Midler production of glamorous drag. The reparte was not very creative. The voices were ok but not spectacular.

What's not to love? Opening number "It's Raining Men" sung by 3 Divas flying above the stage singing , with a twinkle light image of the Sydney hatbor bridge as a backdrop........then at least a dozen men dancing on stage whiie a giant disco ballover the theater lights up confetti falling from the ceiling.........So over the top, and it gets better from there.........Go on now go... go out the door ....and buy a ticket today this stupendous broadway romp should not be missed! You will know every song and will sing along. This may be the new Mama Mia!

    Priscilla One of the Best

    Alice Springs Or Busts

by BoasGalore on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

Once you're over the loss of at least one South African ostrich farm for the plumage on stage (and the unfortunate death of a Teletubby) Priscilla (Q of D) is as alive as a well lit disco ball. It's Momma Mia meets La Cage to the beat of girl songs and mascara mirrors. Shed a tear, have an outback beer and enjoy the easy going plot and ever flowing (if not dazzling) costumes (after costume after costume). Pure fun. A tear or two...and everyone lives happily ever after.

    Too Americanized

by Anonymous on 3/28/11Palace Theatre New York - New York

Absolutely loved this show in London and could not wait to see it on Broadway. In the end it was a bit of a disappointment. This version seems completely Americanized. The producers lacked the faith in American audiences and made changes from the original production that took away from everything that make the UK version work. Additionally many of the cast seemed to have so little dialect training that I was uncomfortable watching their attempts at an Australian accent. I have lived in Australia for extended periods and I could have done a better job than most of the cast. The second act was much better, but all in all the changes to the production were not for the better.

JUst a lot of fun with good costumes, music & many laughs. All three leads did good jobs with the best being Nick Adams.
