Gretchen and Maya are just absolutely superstars in this show. They have an incredible band, which sometimes includes Wendy and Lisa (and Haim!). I have seen many a Prince tribute show, and Princess is the best show by a landslide. You feel their love for Prince in every note and every movement. The new venue, The Bellweather, in DTLA, is the perfect size for this spectacular show!
What fun! You don’t know what you’re in for- you think, “can this is be for real?” It absolutely can and it is- Maya and Gretchen turned their lifelong adoration of Prince into a fun night for them as well as the audience. We were dancing and singing along all night, and seeing them at The Rooftop at Pier 17, under the stars and on a cool night, moonlit was just perfect!

I’ve not been so happy at a live music event since I last saw Prince at Madison Square Garden. Princess were superb and hit all the right notes. The show was fun, sexy and well produced.
MAYA RUDOLPH IS A GODDMAN NATIONAL TREASURE AND THERE BE A STREET AND OR PERFORMANCE HIGH SCHOOL IN EVERY CITY IN THE US NAMED AFETR HER!
Not only is Pier 17 a phenomenal venue to begin with, but Princess absolutely rocked. The atmosphere and excitement was exhilarating.
I went because I love Prince and I love Maya Rudolph and she did not disappoint. Basically a Prince’s greatest hits sing-along all night and I have no problem with that.
What a fun concert (and Pier 17's rooftop) was a great venue for it. While I'm sure Maya and Gretchen make some good coin from these shows, it seems like they do this more because they love it than for any other reason. They genuinely have fun on stage, and it radiates to the audience. The Prince covers are sublime, and the little surprises interwoven into the songs -- "Family Ties"theme, I'm looking at you -- made the evening more special. Henceforth, when Princess returns to New York City, everything will need to be put aside, because I insist on attending.
What a night! From start to end, my face hurt from smiling so hard. Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Lieberum as Princess are a true treasure. The gorgeous Pier 17 rooftop venue only enhanced the experience. 5-star show!
The show itself was great, lively crowd, opening DJ Lenka Paris was amazing. Princess band could have played a little bit longer a one hour set was too short !
What a fitting first time to the Bellwether - a “new” nightclub that used to be owned by Prince! The show itself was so much fun - Princess does some of Prince’s big hits, some deeper cuts and a few silly bits. Lenka Paris opened and was ridiculously good! Got us so ready for the show and was 100% worth seeing solo! Then Princess prowled onto the stage and had a great time so of course the sold out crowd did, too. It’s a bit strange to be in a clean nightclub but also, a total joy! Can’t wait for another show at the Bellwether, to see Princess again anywhere/anytime, and to get to Lenka Paris’s next gigs on the west coast!
What a fun show! It was a packed house and Princess did Prince proud 🥹 Wendy & Lisa were the surprise we all needed. Glam Slam was resurrected by The Bellwether 💟
Princess is absolutely the best Prince concert you will ever see now that he is gone. Maya, Gretchen and their band are pitch perfect in every way. They always put on the best show, I can’t wait for them to play LA again!!
One of the greatest concerts I’ve seen outside of Prince himself. Love these ladies and their commitment to keeping his legacy alive and FUN!!!
We had a great time and sang along the whole show! Maya and the band were very entertaining!
The band went on a whole two hours after the "start" of the show. The DJ opener was fine but it really was an unreasonable amount of time to wait in a place with GA and nowhere to sit. The audience was notably and visibly annoyed and uncomfortable. The venue is also designed in such a way that once crowded it is very hard to move across the space to get to the restrooms or bar. Also, Princess largely appeals to Gen X'ers. We don't want to stand up with no seats for four hours anymore. Either go on and play in a reasonable amount of time or find a venue with assigned seats.
SO much fun! They were great and looked like they were having a blast and it was infectious! And a Fred Armisen cameo!
INSANE... OFF THE CHAIN!!! Amazing energy!!! Uphold Prince’s legacy and then some!!!
If you love Prince you will adore Princess! They are so fun.
