About

Hip hop and R&B group Pretty Ricky landed on of Power 96's most requested songs ever with the 2005 release of "Grind with Me." Ticket holders describe the typical Pretty Ricky concert as lively and engaging since the group members have a reputation for entertaining the crowd with their synchronized dancing and fluid rapping skills. In addition, Pretty Ricky has held contests during each tour to give fans a chance to win phone calls from group members, VIP seating onstage, and sound-check party passes.

Pretty Ricky's original members included four brothers from Miami: Baby Blue, Spectacular, Pleasure P and Slick'em, with the latter two leaving the group in 2007 and 2009, respectively. As soon as an Atlantic Records executive saw the brothers' talent and local fan base in 2004, the group was signed. Pretty Ricky released its first album, Bluestars, in 2005, which reached No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart thanks to the popularity of "Grind with Me," "Nothing But a Number" and "Your Body." The next album, Late Night Special, did even better, taking the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with the help of hit songs "On the Hotline," "Push It Baby" and "Love Like Honey." In 2009, Pretty Ricky released a self-titled album that was largely carried by the popular single "Tipsy (In Dis Club)." Despite disbanding in 2012, the group members of Pretty Ricky have hinted at reunion plans and they were considering working on a fourth album. Fans can only await their comeback, hoping their music is as fierce and exciting as ever.

    Waste of Money & Time!

by 2Calm4U on 11/16/15Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

Pretty Ricky did not perform. Was told group left due to not be allowed to have 30 people backstage. # Unprofessional All the other acts were great. They should have not booked Pretty Ricky as main act up against the other performing acts. They would have sold more seats.

    worst concert ever

by emeraldth on 4/15/12Emerald Theatre - Mt. Clemens

How can you advertise this event as a Pretty Ricky concert? For a concert scheduled at 730, Pretty Ricky didn't perform until midnight, and by perform I mean they sang 2 songs. Before the concert I called the Emerald Theater to see who would be opening for Pretty Ricky and I was given the names of two people; There was about 20 people. Extremely pissed and bummed out seeing as I thought I was paying for a Pretty Ricky concert.

    Pretty Ricky SUCKED

by mmrg on 4/15/12Emerald Theatre - Mt. Clemens

This was the worst concert I've ever been to. The doors opened at 7:00 pm and Pretty Ricky came on just after midnight. For 5 hours amateur rappers and dancers in groups of 15-20 "performed." When Pretty Ricky finally came on they performed TWO SONGS and left the stage. They never came back on, but were followed by a group of female dancers. FALSE ADVERTISING.

    It was alright

    by Sean627 on 10/5/09Pretty Ricky/Trey Songz/Do or Die - Rockford

Trey Songz and Do or Die was unbelieveable. It was alot of kids there because alot of acts don't really come to Rockford. Pretty Ricky came and did alot of "adult" things. They apologized to the crowd after the concert but overall it was good. I was jammin to all the songs. I never really knew about Trey Songs before this. After the concert I went out and spent $17 on his bonus track cd at target
