Preacher Lawson on Tour
Exuberant and hilarious, Preacher Lawson is the kind of performer whose energy cannot be contained by any stage, and that includes America's Got Talent. In 2017, television's most popular talent contest transformed Lawson into comedy's next superstar, introducing him to the wider audience he's deserved since he first began making fans in his hometowns of Memphis and Orlando.
Lawson's reputation is based on his smartly crafted material, unabashedly physical sense of humor, and flair for impressions (his high-spirited pastor character is vivid proof of that). He continues to make the same impact on audiences that he did on viewers and judges when he was a Top Ten finalist for America's Got Talent Season 12. He also finished fifth when he returned for America's Got Talent: The Champions in early 2019.

Even in the brief audition that was the first step toward his breakout on America's Got Talent, Preacher Lawson's comedy skills were readily apparent to TV's most famous judges. "Preacher, can I get just one more joke?" asked a new fan by the name of Simon Cowell, who also called him "unbelievably talented." Comedy legend Howie Mandel was quick to agree.
Lawson's TV breakout was a welcome achievement for a comedian who's been working hard to perfect his craft ever since he made his performance debut at the age of 17 at an open mic night at the University of Memphis in Tennessee. After establishing himself in Orlando's comedy scene, he won the Funniest Comedian in Florida in 2015 before earning top honors in the Seattle International Comedy Competition the following year.
Now based in Los Angeles, Lawson continues to tour nationwide while adding to a list of high-profile TV appearances that includes Last Call with Carson Daly, Inside Joke with Asif Ali, and Coming to the Stage, along with his star turns on America's Got Talent. Viewers also can see Lawson put his unique spin on travel, cooking, and more on his YouTube channel, which now has nearly 250,000 subscribers.
My second time seeing Preacher Lawson. I am a great fan and will see him anytime. His brother Justine was very funny and hilarious. Preacher great, hilarious, funny,gave me lots of belly laughs. Great birthday celebration for my friend. Love when he takes time to take pictures with the audience. He is a CHAMPION in my book. Wish him continued success!
We truly enjoyed both Preacher and his brother. They were both very entertaining. What we enjoyed most about Preacher's act was that he was able to find the funny side in everyday situations without using profanity or crossing the line. The best comedians are gifted at this. Congratulation, Preacher. Well done. It was refreshing. Great show and highly recommended! Lots of laughs!
Preacher hit it out of the park AGAIN! You never know what’s comin next during his shows, and his comedy is totally relatable no matter who you are. His jokes, physical performance, and style are just indescribable. This was the second time that I had the pleasure of seeing his performance, and I didn’t want it to stop! I’m already looking forward to the next time that I get to see him!!!
How refreshing to hear comics not cuss. I saw all ages there laughing and laughing! I just moved here from Ohio and had seen him on AGT and was so hoping to get to see him if he ever toured this way....and he did. The highlight was we actually got to meet him in person and take pictures with him. He is a class act especially doing that also. Can’t wait to see him again 😊.
The opening act (his brother) was absolutely amazing. Preacher was completely funny and put on an amazing show and afterwards he stay to meet anyone that wanted to meet him for pictures and autograph.
Preacher was as good as I expected. The surprise was his brother who is equally as good if not better. Different. The venue has a little to be desired as the seats are incredibly tight as in the length of your thigh. There were 2 women in our party who are 5'6 or less and even they were unable to sit in a normal fashion as their knees were also tight up against the back of the sit in front.
Reason i gave it four stars the seats were very uncomfortable,but preacher is as animated as he was on AGT

Preacher is great- he’ll have his own show/movie soon for sure!! Some jokes from AGT w/new ones added in. You can tell the Wilbur USED to be beautiful-could use some cleaning & updating.
Good show but so many people, Table positions made it so many had to turn around to see the stage and seating was super close.
