Postcard from Earth Tickets

It was cool but slow to start. The first 5-10 minutes of the people waking up could have been condensed. Would have loved to see even more about the planet instead of that part. The show was amazing but I’m not sure it’s worth the money for 50 minutes.

While the visuals and sensory effects of Postcard From Earth were breathtaking, showcasing the Sphere's potential, the heavy-handed environmental message overshadowed the experience for us. The clichéd "humans are bad"narrative felt hypocritical considering the theater's resource consumption. We woukd have much preferred simply focusing on the beauty of Earth.

I loved the Postcard from Earth part of the experience, but it was a bit depressing. Very great effects though! It was similar to a Disney's Soarin' ride, which I love. I wish I would have taken motion sickness pills before it though-- it made me a bit dizzy. What I didn't like were the steep elevators and stairs. It felt positively treacherous walking down to our Row 1 seats. One false move, and a person could tumble so easily. I think that something needs to be said on the website about this. I couldn't tell where the entry level to the section was from everything I read before buying tickets (and I tried to research it!). The escaltors were the same-- way too steep. Luckily, there was an elevator too. The humanoid robots were lots of fun, but the whole time we were watching them, no one moved, which made it hard to get up close to them. They need to be on more of a platform, and without the staff member standing directly in front. She blocked a lot of our view. We just finally gave up on that portion of the day. I know that everyone else is talking about how much they loved the whole Sphere experience. I doubt I would ever do it again or encourage anyone older, like me, to do it. I'd definitely steer them toward seats high in the section. Parking onsite was great-- I purchased the ticket to park ($18) before we went, and it was so easy.

First off, it was about about 1,000 people and myself to get to talk to 5 AI robots. So you can imagine how much interaction I got with them- zero. It was pointless to even try. Next up, seating is terrible! I'm 6'3", the lady in front of me had her head right between my knees. Folks showed up later than us, so it was up and down to let them pass. There were some folks who took their cell phone camera out and disrupted the whole time. They became the star of the show. The show was good, the visual of the 18k was phenomenal. All in all, I would not recommend, and based on how I was treated on the way out, I would not do it again.

Never experienced anything like this before!!!! Planning to see the live show!

This was such a fun experience! The screen is amazing. You have to look up, down, left, right, to see the whole thing. It's huge! The sounds, scents, wind, vibrating seats, really bring the journey together. The actual "Postcard to Earth"is a bit weird and I think they could have done something that wasn't so spacy and awkward, but the visuals of the movie were incredible.

Great experience- and we had the lower “cheap seats”. But I don’t think there is a bad seat in the place. The video was amazing in every way - visually, audio, and other senses. I’d do it every week if I lived there…if you go to Vegas, spend the 1+ hour watching this amazing film on the biggest screen you’ve ever seen.

My wife and I loved the Sphere. The building is amazing and the experience of the screen that wraps around you is unbelievable. There’s also wind and other effects that the seats can do which make it a very immersive experience. I would definitely attend another event there.

The experience last 2 hours. The first hour is spent interacting with technology. The second half is an awesome video presntation on a gigantic wrap around screen . The video features many natural and made made marvels as well as many wildlife spiecies and many human cultures. The narative is vey humanistic, dismissing all religious beliefs to actually being worship of the creation rather than the creator. Aside from that it is a cautionary allogory about earths enviroment,and how humans will dstroy the planet only to escape and go on to colonize other planets. Focusing back on the audio visual presentation, it is vivid, high def, and awesome

Overall, the Sphere Experience was great. We loved the Postcard from Earth video. We were pleasantly surprised at how realistic it felt watching it. Definitely worth the ticket. Room for improvement would include getting ticket holders into the Atrium more quickly. We had a 2pm show ticket and didn't get into the venue until after 2:30pm due to the line not moving. That left very little time for interacting with the robot exhibits in the atrium. The exhibits were very crowded and hard to get up close to, but we did get to see a couple and they were very neat. If you visit while the Venetian's bridge is closed, plan to get in line close to the front (early) to be able to get inside the atrium with enough time to interact with the robot displays before moving into the theatre for the 2nd part of the event for the movie.
