  • The technology and overall experience was amazing

    by U’ilani on 3/17/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

A wonderful experience seeing the creation and wonders of earth, and what humans have done. Inside the sphere, the stairs & escalator to the upper seats are VERY steep; if afraid of heights, opt for the lower seating. Every seat has a perfect view since it expands throughout the inside of the sphere. The actual show is just under an hour long (not 2), and though impressive, overpriced. I wouldn’t pay half the amount to see it again

  • Room for Improvement

by Harley on 3/16/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

40-minute wait to get through the door (only one set of doors for entry) in the heat (opportunity to have a cover for those waiting in line outside). Didn't have time to enjoy the robots and had to get right to our seats, but not after getting a water and soda (for $14). I'm not sure if there were other doors for an emergency exit. I asked, but nobody knew and they said just go out the doors we came in. Hmmm. The movie's story is about how we're destroying our planet - says a venue that just spent $2+billion to build a theatre to say that. Hmmmm. Then we were herded through the exit lane to get out of there and the bathrooms were closed on the lower level. Room for improving the user experience, but cool technology.

  • Postcard from Earth

I enjoyed the film and the theater at the sphere. It was very sensory. I do believe they should put a caption on where the locations are shot so that the viewer will know exactly what they’re looking at. The price was a little high for a 50 minute movie looking at landscapes, but all in all the experience was nice I think a concert in the same theater would be a better choice for entertainment at that price.

  • Don't waste your time or money

I was excited to tour the sphere. At around $90 per person it was an expensive splurge but the description showed a two hour experience. I thought the first hour would be a guided tour of the facility and the second hour would be a movie showing off the special effects. We got there 30 minutes early. There was already a long line to get in. There was no real direction as to what to do. Eventually, we were told to enter the building and went into another holding room. Still no direction. Finally, they let people in through a pretty intense screening. Once in, there were two or three stands with robots that might have been at the beginning of a Disney ride 20 years ago. There was something that would take a picture of you in an Avatar. We waited 30 minutes and then the attraction broke. It looks like this is just a holding area to get people in the venue early and sell some overpriced concessions. We then saw the movie. The resolution was very good and there were a few effects similar (but not as good) as the 'Soarin ride at Disney. The movie was similar to what you would see at an IMAX film at your local science museum. I don't believe it showed off the effects of the venue. The movie was also not very fun or humorous. This might be ok as a way to spend time at $20 or $30 but a waste of money at $90+.

  • Basically a Very pricey IMAX show

by Lifelong traveler on 3/16/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

Postcards from Earth is way too expensive for what you get. I think the outside of the sphere is more creative and newer more dramatic technology than what I saw on Postcards from Earth inside. That was a very good show but really not much more than any IMAX movie. I feel the high ticket price is definitely not worth it. Go to Fly Over Las Vegas down the strip for about 1/3 of the price.

  • amazing experience

by Shelbi on 3/16/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Breathtaking and beautiful. I would go again. I don't think any seat would be bad except the 400 level is fairly steep. It is incredible and well worth seeing. Reminded me of what Disney World had years ago with the round theater only light years different with technology.

  • Overpriced

Nice 50 minute IMAX movie but in no way worth the price.

  • Worth it

by Nicole on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

It was confusing at first because no one knew where to go to stand in line. And then there was a security guy. ( I guess that’s what he was) tried to tell people but he was like whispering it and then got mad when people didn’t know what to do. They don’t let you in until the exact time you book so if you get there early you will have to just stand outside in line. The security there is crazy! I felt like I was going through airport security. We had a 2:00 show so you have an hour to go through and see the AI robots which that was really cool. They had a place where you can take a picture and it makes your avatar which I wasn’t too impressed with. But the show we watched was amazing definitely worth everything. It really seems like you are there or the animals are right in front of you. It has wind, smell, and the seats vibrate to help make it feel like you are experiencing what’s right in front of you. I didn’t really like the story line about how humans ruined the earth by existing but the experience is something that you have to see!

  • Good and bad

by RJ on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

Great sound and video but I didn’t expect to be forced fed someone’s green agenda. I was expecting to be wowed with video and music. The video started out okay but as it went on it became a political green agenda performance and the video ended on a total downer. Most people come to Vegas to be entertained, relax, and have fun not not to be lectured.

  • Awesome movie

We watched this in amazement. It was high quality and a multi-sensory experience.

  • The most amazing arena on Earth!

by ConsumedByWanderlust on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The outside: WOW! The inside: WOW! The robots: WOW! We went in twice in our trip to Las Vegas. Fascinating!

  • Evolution of Life

by Billion dollar building on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

It was great, The robotic event and other picture event prior to postcard event was a little cheesy. I a sure under 6 year old children loved that. If you had a 30 minute video of a popular band before postcard video may have been a plus. I looked at movie as a show of evolution of life. (Was I wrong). Maybe areosmith, U2, Taylor Swift?

  • Fun to do Once

by Jen on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The screen is amazing, special effects like thew wind were awesome… and the movie was interesting. The robot area for an hour before the event was a disappointment. Just hundreds of patrons standing around 6 different robots trying to ask a predictable question. That being said, the cost of tickets for a family of 5 was way too expensive. Especially disappointing that the outter edges (“cheap $80 seats”) were packed and the entire center of the theater was empty seats.

  • Awesome experience

Not sure which was better, the exhibits or the movie. Amazing tech, loved both.

  • Great cinematography but terrible story premise

    by Miggy H on 3/15/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

The film looked great, but the sound was overwhelmingly loud. The story premisewas weak, and it got too preachy about saving the earth. I didn’t need to spend a buttload of money for tickets just to get told that I’m a bad human being. How ironic that the movie was housed at the Sphere, which must waste a ton of earth’s precious energy to power itself.

  • Amazing experience

by Rose on 3/14/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Wow, I've never experienced anything like it, mind blowing!

  • Technology awesome; story flowed

by Jefe on 3/14/24Sphere - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was awesome with the huge external and internal screens and audio. The pre show experience was lacking with the rapid development of ChatGTP making some of the technology "development"seem obsolete. The story was a fatalistic eco fantasy that was not only able to offend every major religion inferring religion was created to celebrate Earth but also trying to tie some normal flutuations of Earth's climate to some industrial. Of course, the story ends with Earth becoming a sanctuary even though the 'seeds' of exploration is destroying all other worlds in favor of what 'we' think it should be.

  • Postcard from Earth, a Beautiful cinematography.

If you set aside the obscure storyline, it’s a wonderful visual experience.
