If you’re planning to go on a day with another event I’d advise to arrive at least an hour early! We unfortunately missed the first part of the game due to finding parking away from rink. Unless you pay for full parking before you go you couldn’t park in the parking garages. Besides that the game was a success and extremely enjoyable! I would highly recommend for everyone!
The hockey game was solid. Good skills and nearly some good fights. $40 a ticket is a little steep as this is essentially college hockey. 3 stars comes from...the food and drinks are just as expensive as NHL games, which is ridiculous...especially when you have church volunteers working the concession stands.
Had a great time as always!! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Game was fun and crowd was into it. Main drawback is the arena, small seats and tight rows make it uncomfortable for a a bigger guy to sit and watch the game
My friends and I haven't been to a hockey game in decades. We had a total BLAST! So much fun, loved all the action! We are already returning tomorrow (Sat), so excited!
Watching the Winterhawks from behind the goal was the best seat I ever sat in a hockey game. I came face to face with these athletes, witnessing their desires to place the puck into the net. Awesome!!!
Fun game to watch, you guys really earned the win with hard work and gutsy play.

Perfect date night for the wife and I. Fast paced action with great seats.
Got tickets for the day for my son and I. We are from TC therefore we were rooting for the Americans! However, the facility that the Winterhawks play in is great!! Great good choices and mostly importantly my son loved the cotton candy! I felt safe in the facility and there was a great turn out!! Only downfall was the parking lot leaving! That was a nightmare!
This was my first Winterhawlks game. We had such a blast. I cant wait to go back.
Great experience at the Winterhawks game! It was very enjoyable to attend with my friend and his 3 year old son. Easy entrance, easy to get around, convenient concessions and great seats. We had a blast and my friends son LOVED his first HAWKey match - glad to see Memorial Coliseum got a little facelift and is alive and rocking! Highly recommend to others and will be back for sure!
Our family of three went to the winterhawks game as a “forced family fun” night out, and the game was great! Even our moody teenager couldn’t help but be in a good mood by the end of it! The Hawks played great! The fans were great and we had pretty good seats to see all the action. Food was over priced though- I do recommend eating before arrival
They say that staffing is an issue everywhere, but there were more than plenty of people on staff during this event. The issue was that they were all completely incompetent - from entry into the building to waiting 30 minutes to buy a bag of popcorn. There is clearly no training process and certainly no sense of urgency - but they will make sure to ask you for a tip! On New Year's Eve, an event for which one can expect larger than normal attendance, I would expect at least some semblance of crowd management, but that was very clearly not a priority in the least.
I hadn’t gone to a winterhawks game in quite sometime and used to go all the time. We had a blast taking our 7 year old to experience it for his first time! We sat by awesome season ticket holders, great music was played, it was a great game and there was so much fan interaction. It was great! We are looking forward to the next one!
We had a fabulous time at the game! Fast paced, plenty of places to get snacks & souvenirs. We'll be back!
Building is antiquated. Seat bottoms were comfortable however lack of legroom made it difficult to sit straight. Winterhawks staff put on a great show and ice staff worked hard and prepared ice for every period. Exiting the building was an absolute joke. They funnel everyone thru one set of doors. If there were to have been an emergency people would have been trampled. Probably won’t go back.
I love watching the Winterhawks play. I was able to get some pretty good seats. It was a great time on ugly sweater night!
The teddy bear toss was an amazing experience this was my first year and I loved the whole game!!!
I had a lot of fun watching this game with my friends. I love hockey and it was the first opportunity for me here in Portland, I loved it!
