    Sunday at the Ballpark

by Browncr on 9/7/10PGE Park - Portland

We had great seats next to first base and the weather couldn't have been better. The crowd was was really into supporting the Beavers in this their next to last home game. It was hard to imagine that after all the years of Beaver Baseball, this was coming to and end. It was a sad day for Portland!

Portland will miss great affordable baseball

    by Deenie47 on 9/6/10PGE Park - Portland

The Beavers are gone as of tomorrow the 6th of Sept. How terribly sad. It's so much fun to go to an affordable baseball on summer evenings. Hot Dogs, peanuts, popcorn and catching fouled fly balls. The cheer of the crowd and the wonderful fireworks. Baseball, an American pastime and icon taken over by a European sport. It's sad to see the Beavers go. I loved the games. LET'S GET THE BEAVERS BACK AGAIN !!

    Beavers baseball history

by GWMfan on 9/5/10PGE Park - Portland

Although we haven't been to many of the Beavers' games, this was a must as the Beavers are an important part of Portland and baseball history. The experience was bittersweet. Fun to see the crowd get into the game. Fireworks were a wonderful finale. Thanks, Beavers!

    Portland Beavers Game

by domokomo on 8/22/10PGE Park - Portland

This was our 4th Beavers game, 3rd one this season! It was the topper to our daughter's 16th birthday party celebration........The $1 menu and after-the-game fireworks were a BONUS! Our family is truly going to be disappointed if Portland does not find a way to keep them in town! It is a fun and affordable event for the whole family! We will not be soliciting PGE park after it becomes the sole home to the Portland Timbers......We will have to start heading south to Salem......

    Baseball Forever

by MacJim on 8/21/10PGE Park - Portland

We live out of town and had a wonderful time in the Park. Parking a bit iffy and a dent in the pocket book but week worth it. Want to thank all the very professional employees. The rest rooms were very well kept so I know the staff we did not see were also dedicated people. The only sour note was after the game during the fireworks some less desirable people on bicycles threw a fit because??

Great Way to Spend a Day!

by Browncr on 8/18/10PGE Park - Portland

I took the grand kids for a day at the ball park. The youngest got to participate in an on field competition and it made his year. We all had a great time that only a Beaver win could have improved.

A Great Time Was Had by All!

    by eatbat3 on 8/2/10PGE Park - Portland

We were in Portland for the weekend, so picked up some tickets to see the Beavers play Salt Lake. We're from Seattle, so we would have liked to see the Beavers play Tacoma, but we're baseball fans first and foremost, so we just wanted to see a good game. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by what a great ballfield PGE park is. It has a very old-school feel to it and it's right in Portland's downtown area. The next surprise we found is that there was a Webkins giveaway at the park that night, so both our boys were given a stuffed Beaver mascot. Once we got inside the park, the pleasantries continued. We followed our ticket stubs down to our seats (first row right behind the Beavers' dugout) where were were advised that, as members of the club section, we had access to the Season Ticket Holders' suites. We followed the attendant's directions down to the suite where we were treated to free hot dogs, popcorn, and potato chips. As if that weren't enough, the game itself was fantastic w/ the Beavers getting out to an early lead, only to fall behind, then come back from behind from the win. We would come back again in a heartbeat. While we were there, we heard rumors that the Beavers may not be playing at PGE next year. I hope that is not the case. It's a great baseball experience!

We loved the game. Only hope that in their new location it will be as family friendly for an afternoon at the park.

    Great deal for the kiddo's

    by amandacp777 on 7/19/10PGE Park - Portland

This was a father's day gift from my 3 year old. She enjoyed everything! Pizza, soda, cotton candy, meeting the beaver, all the songs, dancing, cheering, etc. We had reserved infield seats - but moved to the bleacher seats after 1 inning for more wiggle room and relaxed crowd - the seats were still great! The reserved infield seating was filled with "Beaver followers" and wern't fond of a 3 yr old cheering or wiggling in the seat. Have a toddler? - Sit further back. you'll thank me.

Had a great time at the Beavers game and they won!

    by Baseballfan25 on 7/17/10PGE Park - Portland

We had a great time at the Portland Beavers game at PGE Park. We went on a Friday night and they had great promotions. Hotdogs were only 1$ along with a couple other 1$ promotions. The other food was kind of expensive (what ballpark isnt?) although I have seen worse. They also had amazing fireworks after the game. They were far better than the fireworks we went to on the 4th of July. The seats are rather comfy. They are fairly wide, but there could be more leg room between rows. They are not too expensive either. We took the Max in and it stops right at the field so there is very easy access to the park on public transit. I can't comment on the parking, but it seems it would be more difficult since the stadium is almost downtown with street parking. Overall a good price for the experience. I love baseball and this was my first Portland baseball experience since moving here almost a year ago. I definitely want to go again. Go Beavers!

    Beautiful Experience

by shaanna on 7/16/10PGE Park - Portland

From the time we picked up our ticketsat WILL CALL the park attendants were VERY helpful. They helped us find our seats, offered help to me, as I was using a cane, and told us they hoped we had a good time while at the park.

    Great hitting and outstanding fielding

    by Dick54 on 7/16/10PGE Park - Portland

We're visitors from Florida and find getting to PGE park great. Park is clean and Portland Beaver is a highlight for everyone not only the children. Best of Luck to the couple who got engaged at the game and was showed on the outfield screen. Keep up the activities.

A Great Way to Celebrate the Fourth of July

by Anonymous on 7/12/10PGE Park - Portland

A very enjoyable evening for the whole family! The game was great and the fireworks show after was excellent. I wish I had gone to more baseball games at PGE Park. It will be sad to see it converted to a soccer field.
