    Adorable!

by Anonymous on 3/27/16The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

Very good show. I love the fact that he rescues all the animals. My 2 and a half year old loved it. Was happy to find a wonderful show that is so child friendly and didn't break my wallet.

    OK

by Marfusa on 3/27/16The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

Went to show because wife had fond memories of show from her childhood.. She saw weaknesses but still enjoyed seeing the show and memories it evoked. I enjoyed it but would not want to see it again. Going with children would probably be a better experience. OK but not great.

    Not a pet theater

by GypsyRayne on 3/22/16Packard Music Hall - Warren

It was more focused on Popovich and his acrobats than the animals. I was disappointed that I paid for a VIP ticket and the meet and greet had a bird and not any of the dogs or cats and Popovich. If it is a pet theater it should be more about the pets than himself. I gave it 2 stars because all of the pets were RESCUES which I applaud Popovich for. Rescue, Rescue Rescue.

    Not what we expected

    by Bunny31 on 3/15/16McFarlin Auditorium - Dallas

The animals were a very small part of the overall show. Most of the show was devoted to juggling and acrobatics. The sets and costumes were pretty tired looking. Video clips were inserted at odd times during the performance, and were dated and of poor quality. Definitely not worth the money.

    Children probably will like it

by NBert on 3/13/16McFarlin Auditorium (at SMU) - Dallas

This was a very old-fashioned show, that young kids might enjoy, but probably not anyone older than about 6 years old. It was cheesy rather than comedic. Even the sidekicks really looked like they didn't want to be there. I could tell that the juggler was skilled, but it still didn't really entertain me. We really came for the pets, but they were strangely dressed, and the skits that included the pets were stilted and not particularly well-done. All the work with the pets was done on the stage floor, so nobody could see what was going on. There were several unexplained long pauses in the show, where it seemed something was wrong, but we didn't know what. Bottom line, I do not feel that I got my money's worth, and to be honest, I didn't even feel that it was worth my time.

    Popovich Pet Theater

by momwdog on 3/31/15Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

The show was excellent. My kids really enjoyed it. Everyone who played was awesome, especially all the animals. Mr Popovich does an amazing job training them. He is very kind and cute. The only thing I wished it was a little longer. The show reminded me of my childhood and russian circus.

perfect mommy & me date with my 3 year old

by peanutgirl03 on 1/21/15The Mahaffey Theater - St Petersburg

My 3 year old daughter LOVED the show. The pets were adorable and I was happy to see avian friends as well as furry ones. We purchased Orchestra Row 1 (first two seats off aisle) keep in mind this is still about 5 rows from the stage. I was lucky enough to have another mother offer me one of her seats in the 2nd row from stage (her child was on her lap as was mine) Once up there my 3 year old could see the animals perfectly. Therefore, keep in mind the animals are only about a foot or two off the stage so you may want balcony or front row for your little ones to see all the animals. My daughters favorite part of the show? The clowns!! She loved them. Although a bit hokey at times (if you go to Disney it's like the street performers outside Pete's Silly Side Show.) but she loved them!! When provoked she continued to say they were her favorite part of the show. The children next to us (the mom who offered us her seat) were about 6 or 7 if I had to guess. They too were really enjoying it. It's a great show for something fun to do with the kids. And the fact that all those animals are rescued makes the money you spend well worth it.

A bitter disappointment that cost us 135 big ones

by Ventmstr on 6/13/13V Theatre PH - Las Vegas

This show has gone from a level of good quality where the animals ruled the stage to a poorly produced waste of patrons time. 1. Popovich now has 75% of show on strange skits that go nowhere and are boring 2. 15% are set aside for "his Jumping Boys" guys dressed as jesters that jump around doing things any school yard child can do with 3 days of training 3. 5% to a quick change artist that is okay but obviously seen better days 4. 5% to animals that are definetley not ready for prime time and thus the 2:30 pm showtime explains alot We came to see the dogs and cats that were once the rulers of this show. Now it is Popovich Juggling a hat and whistling and doing things I think I could do with a spare afternoon of practice. Lastly, the V theatre is an abomination...my seat and my sons were broken leaning forward and we paid an extra 10 bucks for front row seats. But guess what...at the door a shill will get someone placed in front of you to obstruct your view and now you are in the second or third row...but hey grease him with a 20 spot and you get placed in front of the other poor sap that was originally in front of you....we spent 35 bucks for VIP seats for a total of 135 dollars. What a waste...We spent 60 dollars more a ticket and saw a Cirque Du Soleil Show Mystere' and loved it...so my advice is to spend a few more bucks for a much better experience...Popovich and his Jumping boys should be ashamed for the poorly produced and executed slop they are serving up on broken plates at the PH V Theatre....if you do drop the 35 bucks dont worry you wont be alone....Popovich is dropping most of the stuff he juggles all show long....

    Popovich's Show Was Pup-tacular

by DMom123 on 5/13/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

My three-year-old son was so excited he spent most of the show bouncing up and down in his seat and giggling uncontrollably. His attention never wavered. When we got home, he set up his stuffed doggies in the school set-up that we saw in the show and pretended they were doing tricks, I enjoyed the frame story of Popovich missing his train, joining the circus, having adventures, then returning to his real life.

A bit boring for older kids.

by sopdox on 5/13/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Based on reviews and video from the Vegas show I thought my kids would like this. They're 15, 13 and 10 and were easily the oldest kids anywhere near us. Most if the kids there were Wiggles aged kids. I was expecting a more exciting acrobatic performance. This show was very simple. I realize there are limitations because of the venue's stage size and configuration. The best part for me was learning that all the animals in the show were rescues. I would recommend this show if you are taking young kids, say up to 6 years old. After that I think it's boring for them.

    Unprofessional

by FatherIoann on 5/13/13NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Professional level of these performers is extremely low. I don't think I have ever paid money for something of such low quality. Animals are poorly trained and tend not to do what performer is expecting from them. Performers would drop things while juggling, step on the rope when jumping over the rope and failed their tricks in other ways. During the show they failed around 15-20 times. My backpack was searched on entrance, which is ok in our time for safety reasons. However, I was requested to leave my ipad in the car, because "it has camera". After watching the show I realized why Popovich Comedy Pet Theater does not want to be filmed on stage.

    Great show

by gopher69 on 5/4/13Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

I thought the show was good for the price I paid which was $19.00 a ticket. anymore than that wouldn't be worth it.. I loved the animals and the whole concept of him saving them from shelters and training them.. very cute...wish my animals did tricks, lol.
