Best Ever!

Awesome show so very talented. Hope he comes back again
Great venue. Papa Chubby played straight for 2 1/2 hours. Awesome show.
It was a good time. Ted and his band was awesome. Ah jgufu9cuocicychi
Another great performance by the big man. Not the best venue for sound, but OK. it's great the Jazz Festival brings in top quality blues acts. Was a bit disappointed by the number of fans.
Pappa Chubby was much much better than we expected. Started on time, played for about an hour & 45 mins straight and the entire band busted their butts to put on a great show.
Small venue that was very intimate and close with Popa Chubby and his band. We loved the whole show.
Was not disappointed . Poppa is extremely talented and entertaining. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed, especially when he honored my request. Just LOVE him and wish he played in our area more often!
Popa was great! he put on a really awesome show. Lots of energy and good blues playing. I recommend if you have not seen him - go.....He will not disappoint!
The concert was excellent, as well as the first band! People were highly engaged into the scene game. However, the prices are VERY expensive, we were three and had to pay 130$ for two beers, a bottle of water (10$ the bottle!!!!) and 3 salads.
good show would have loved to hear a little chuck berry tunes!!!! pappa can play!!!!!!
Popa was great...he still has it. Been watching him play for many years since the early 1990s at Manny's Carwash on the Upper East Side of NYC....However, the warm=up band, which appeared to be family friends, was played for too long and spent half of their set playing heavy metal....Detracted from the evening!
Popa chubby and his band are great musicians. The show was just right with a good mix of songs and styles. I am glad I got to see this band.
We saw Popa Chubby at B B King's in NYC earlier this week. This artist takes Blues to a completely new level. He and his band attack the genre with a degree of intensity that's well beyond a typical blues guitar act. His style weaves in elements of greats like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Roy Buchanan, and Jimi Hendrix. If you are a fan of the blues Popa Chubby is a must see.
this man was born to entertain and is the definition of blues guitar, He played old ,new and borrowed stuff and kicked major ass. JIMI'S lookin down and smiling
Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials are the Best Blues Band out there. You don't have anyone today that plays any better than this. I have been following this band for many years and they NEVER disappoint. Also, the sound system at Showcase Live is phenominal! Loved it! Bring them back to Massachusetts - please! by Eggheads.....Meg & Bri
Excellent evening of guitar. Coco was brilliant and Popa was a freight train of rock and blues. Loved it all.
Must see show! Popa is a talented artist who enjoys the crowd! Loved EVERY minute of the show, he's AWESOME!!! Just GO... you won't regret it!
First time at the venue for me. It was a great place to see a show. I just found Popa Chubby within the past year and I have been enjoying his tunes ever since. When I walked in Popa was sitting there at the door greeting everyone that walked in and was ready to take a picture with anyone who asked. A sign of an artist that truly appreciates his fans if you ask me. He broke out a few older tunes for us and the energy it created in the crowd was both electrifying and magical. A look around the room reviled people with closed eyes singing along and dancing in their chairs like they have been transported to another place. Perhaps a place where the Blues side of Rock and Roll had not quite made its separation and met up with the Country side of Rock and Roll. If you are looking for those tunes when Rock and Roll was young and still trying to find its way and before it got lost back in the early 80’s then you would do yourself well to check out Popa Chubby. When Radio stations stop dicking around start playing music again I hope they find Popa. He just makes it all right with the world again.
What can you say about a guy who plays Hendrix better than Hendrix...?
