  • First timer, with a good time.

by Trev on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Overall a good experience. Would like to see more shade options for the stages. Prices on food and drink were just decent priced. Not a fan of Grandson, hopefully don't see him in future Pointfest events.

  • Hell Yeah!

Alright so I’ve been to tons of concerts (indoor & outdoor), a few festivals (ROTR, LTL, Rocklahoma), and even Shiprocked. Honestly this is one of the better outdoor venues I’ve been too. Finding it was easy, parking was easy (& not ridiculously far away). There were a fair amount of venders and lots of bathrooms. The lawn was super nice. Even though I had to drive 5 hours to get there, I would do it again for another lineup like this.

  • Fantastic

Great experience! Great bands! Great staff! I’ll be back next year!

  • great but could be greater

by Chandy on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing experience! my main gripe is the lack of literally any shade. Some big tents in various areas would be such a huge help as it was the hottest day of spring and people were out in the sun all day. Also, more than one water station would be cool! $125 to be able to sit in the shade for "VIP expererience"is wild too.

  • Great show

by Manda on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome. Loved the line up. One main stager that should have maybe been switched with a side stage group but great show!

  • Awesome!

Pointfest was hot but sooo much fun, the variety of bands was awesome! It was our first year but won’t be the last.

  • Great show

I’ve been to point fest a handful of times. It has always been a great show. You have some great well known bands paired with some up and coming bands that never fail to impress. Every time I go I find some new band that I love to listen to.

  • Second year in a row

by Scarlet!!!! on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

I went lastyear not knowing what to exspect and loved it, baught tickets this year as soon as I could. I love going, it's always so much fun and I love the music and everyone is always so nice and the music is amazing. I saw bad omens for the second time and it gets better and better.

  • Amazing until the end.

by Nick on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

The venue and show were amazing and I have never had a problem. However why do you constantly force all traffic through one exit. It took over 30 mins just to get out of the parking lot. All because they forced all traffic to go one way.

  • Awesome lineup! But drink prices suck

by Blondie on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was amazing and had the best time! But the venue closes everything when the headline starts so you can't even get a $6 water! Also the $14 beer and $28 cocktail prices are insane.

  • Local stage

by B W on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

I've been going to Pointfest for over 10 years. I love the atmosphere, 1057 are always great hosts, the bands always sound good. This year was a little different and a little more special for me. My nephew and his band got the opportunity to open up for Pointfest. They were the first band up, Hardhanded, @1pm. It was a little nerve wracking that the venue wouldn't let us park until 12, and the gates wouldn't open until 1245. That left us little time to rush to the gate and hope we were in before they went on stage. It would be awesome if the venue and event coordinators could leave a little more time on the schedule for people to come in earlier so they don't miss the opening acts. St Louis has a lot of talent in their local bands, it would be nice if they got an opportunity to be noticed too!

  • Good bands, long lines

by JG on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

I thought the bands were great. My issues were waiting in line for food and drinks for over an hour. Missing half a bands set list because of it. Also waiting in line for 45 minutes to get chairs that I paid for online. The chair booth up front would only give chairs to lawny badge members. I didnt even know that was a thing. Prices were outrageous. 20 dollars for a pizza is insane. I doubt I will go next year. I would rather pay less to see the bands at smaller venues. I dont blame the workers but I do blame management.

  • I love Pointfest

by Juls on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

I will be honest, I almost didn't go this year. The bands were on the heavier side and I wasn't sure I would enjoy the whole day. I was wrong. While some of the songs weren't my favorites, all the bands did a nice mix of songs that appealed to their whole fan base. My favorite by far was Letdown. ! I would really like to recommend cooling fans by the black/white stages. It was HOT on that asphalt and I got overheated standing there for 4 hours, so they would definitely help. It would also be nice to go set your stuff down on the lawn to wander around all day rather than hold things for the whole day.

  • Loved it

by Kimi on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

I go every year its the one thing i look forward to all year. Wage war and bad omens really took that stage by storm. Hoping for a good line up next year

  • One of the best

by Brooke P on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

I had the best time. I didn’t know I could bring in extra stuff like water etc but now I know for next time! I will go back to This venue and maybe to another point fest if they have bands that I like.

  • Worst PointFest Ever

by Concert fan on 5/21/24Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 1 out of 5

To be fair, a few bands had a decent song or two but overall I was expecting so much more from PointFest. Most of this new age rock is horrible and nothing like what pointfest used to have. I was incredibly disappointed and will not be going back.

Worst Pointfest since I began attending many years ago.

  • My first PointFest

by Britt on 6/5/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

This wasn't my first concert by any means, but it was my first PointFest. I went with my brother, his wife, and their son. We all had a wonderful time. The bands were all amazing and the staff was friendly. We had to get special seating because my brother has stage 4 lymphoma, so his chemo treatments leave him drained regularly and the staff was accommodating. We plan on going to this venue again in August for the Breaking Benjamin/Disturbed concert. Thank you Hollywood staff for making us feel safe!

  • Sound was off... Lineup iffy...

by KM on 6/1/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

It seems like there were more people there for Badflower than any of the other of the bands. They remind me of a young Breaking Benjamin like following in St Louis. The point actually plays Badflower... I never hear any of the other songs by any of the other bands played by them. The Black and White stages sound was amazing, but the main stage was absolutely horrible sound. Bad Omens sounded like white noise, I couldn't hear Taylor Momsens vocals over the band, same goes for Coheed & Cambria. I was going to stay for Incubus (not the headliner I would have gotten) but It was over 45 minute wait for them to even start. And since traffic is horrible out of the venue, my group and I left early before Incubus even took the stage (over a half hour). After talking to other people that stayed for the show and online comments; by their second song the place was emptying out because the sound was so horrible. I understand the music business is a business, but the Point should really stick to booking bands they actually play. Either that or change the format much like 94.1 WJJO in Madison, WI. I actually listen to them streaming more than any other local radio station in STL (look them up formats a classic new rock/alt format that gets heavy when it's needs to). It's what the Point should be.

  • Pretty good

by Melly on 5/31/23Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - St. Louis, MO - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

Bands were great, weather was awesome , no drama , had a great time. Only one issue: 1) was encouraged to buy a souvenir cup so can just get refills the rest of the day but when you go you are stuck in super slow lines with people ordering food etc. should have an express lane just for refills. I missed performances having to wait in lines filled with Karen’s and slow food production
