it was amazing how the bands brought so many different individuals together to enjoy music. its probably the closest thing to woodstock anyone can get. GOOD TIMES!! my friends and i will be every year and will invite more next year.

  • Best Pointfest Yet

I thought the whole day was amazing! Liked the two side stages that kept eveything moving with out down time in between. Main stage line up could have been switched around to keep the momentum from Papa Roach to Three Days Grace.

Story Of The Year and Hollywood Undead should of been main stage

  • Seether was totally awesome!

I was looking forward to 3 Days Grace, but after hearing Seether I thought they should have headlined! 3 Days Grace sounded like they had some sound issues. The drums sounded tinny and the vocals were much louder than the guitars. From the back of the lawn seats, we couldn't really hear the guitars at all! Sounded like an amp blew at one point. I thought they might stop the show for another sound check, but they didn't.

Point fest was the best its been in years. Hail The Villain, Greek Fire, Shaman's Harvest, Crash Kings, Brookroyal, and Story of the Year + the Main headliners all kicked ass.

  • Three Days Grace was awesome

Pointfest was amazing, perfect weather and Three Days Grace sounded fantastic! Lots of energy on stage and they even played "I don't care" which was too cool!

As my first time going to this event I was disappointed the schedule was not displayed on the website. We arrived at 10am and there was nothing going on where our seats were until 5:30pm. We ended up leaving at 2pm because we just weren't having fun and since there was no re entry it was a waste of $70. Maybe if we had the funds to spend hundreds of dollars on drinks and food we could have been entertained until the main show but unfortunately we didn't see the point of spending the money to get drunk in the middle of the day. If we decide to go again next year we will purchase cheaper tickets and not show up until 5pm or so.

  • Great time except....

by Snowman02212 on 6/7/10Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St Louis - Maryland HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

We had a great time at Pointfest! All the bands we saw were great, except one. We enjoyed the bands on the side stage, and most of the bands on the main stage. However, we thought that Three Days Grace sounded TERRIBLE! I don't know if something was wrong with the sound system, or if they are just not very good live. At one point in the first song, the speakers went out completely. We stayed for a couple of songs, thinking it might get better, but we left soon after. Kind of a bummer :(

All the bands put on a great show. It was very crowded but security was great. We didn't see a single issue, everyone just got a long and had a great time. Sound was incredible. Couldn't tell it was outside!!

  • Another Great Pointfest!

by SparkyMarky710 on 6/7/10Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St Louis - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

This year's Pointfest touted quite the all-star billing this year with Saliva, Coheed and Cambria, Papa Roach, Seether and Three Days Grace on the main stage. But the side stages were also jam-packed with awesome bands too. The gem of the side stages, though, was Flobots. They were feeling the crowd, getting them so into the music. It was a great set and their violinist rocked it out...a violinist, who knew? Three Days Grace killed it with a performance of Home where they employed a display of pyro technics to really light up the stage. My only complaint is that I wish some of the bands would've had a better blend. A perfect example is Shaman's Harvest. Great set, but the lead vocals and guitar needed to be turned up to get the perfect mix. Fans even tried telling them they couldn't hear him. Even Three Days Grace could've used a little more guitar. All in all, it was another great Pointfest!

I was a little disappointed that I couldn't actually see all 29 bands because the first 23 were playing on 3 side stages, but the bands that played on the main stage were good. Seether probably should have been the headliner. I love Three Days Grace, but I think Seether put on a better show. I think Pointfest is a great idea, but I'd rather see fewer bands and watch them all on the main stage.

It's a concert x29 once 1 ends, another begins and the bands just get better and better as the night goes Verizon Wireless Amphitheater has the best lawn seating you can see the main stage from anywhere the secondary stages didn't have that theater lawn seatting, and it was hard to see the stage, but that wasn't an issue laughing at all the weirdos that came outta the wood workings was a huge plus as well
