  • Fun

Overall the experience was a great one. The bands were spot on & Riverport is always a great venue. There were a couple things that could have been handled better, I never saw a lineup with times posted online or on site at the venue. Also I wish the stages were better labeled I was confused that the black & white stages were right by each other. Also would have been nice if main stage opened up more than 30 minutes prior to the bands performing, also there was no notice that would be the case, either.

  • Good music, the rest not so much

This wasn’t my first Pointfest. I was going to them when they still had numbers behind the name for context. To get to an all day event where we had lawn seats and not be able to put our blankets down on the lawn (like we’d always done before) didn’t make us as inclined to walk to the other areas. I get the no reentry policy but we’d have taken that stuff back to car or not brought them at all had we known of the change. Another issue is suddenly choosing to charge for parking in the lot for shows when there are literally no other places you can park legally for free near the venue. It was slipped in near the end of the purchase for presale tickets kind of like an, “And oh by the way…” I’m not alone in that I’ll likely go to less shows at your venue now for that reason. It made it slower to get in to the lot when there should have been lines for people who prepaid for the parking and those who didn’t at the very least even if I don’t like the policy.

  • Fun but some issues

by Mags mom on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 4 out of 5

It was a nice time but I was slightly disappointed about my clear bag they wouldn’t let me bring in that I took in all last year. But overall I think it was a good event and there was also a lot of people helping keep the flow moving. Looking forward to the other events there wish parking didn’t cost so much!! Otherwise it was good.

  • First festival

by Marci on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fun time. Came a little late only missed the first I forget the name. All of them were awesome, it was such a beautiful day. Sunny but windy too. Seats were nice, obviously very close to everyone else but that’s a venue for you. Will probably go again next year if the lineup is good!

  • Had a blast but

I enjoyed all the shows the event and the venue was amazing. The only thing that I would think would be better as if there were more shaded areas in the lawn.

  • Fantastic Event

Great lineup, venue did a great job, our seats were perfect. All around fun time.

  • Urge and 311 steal the show as usual

by Croners on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

The Toadies were great and warmed up the main stage for Steve Ewing and The Urge . They had the entire venue rockn and played a powerful set that really accompanied 311 s incredible but normal performance. 5 stars

  • Great bands, great show

by Wilson-Reynolds fam on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

Our boys’ first concert. They loved getting to see so many bands (especially Ludo, The Urge, and 311) on the same day! Great show, great artists. The lines weren’t long for concessions, restrooms, or merch, the water refill stations were a lifesaver, and staff and vendors were friendly and helpful. Great experience overall!

  • BEST POINTFEST

by lala776 on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 5 out of 5

I can't begin to tell you how great it was to take my kids to see the bands I grew up with and still love. To have my kids and my great niece singing along to 311 was majestic. The bands were like they haven't changed in 30+ years. It was a super fun line up and made it worth getting there from JC, MO to be with family and witness a great show. Haven't been to a Pointfest since the 90's. The price was right for our family of 5. Hard to see a lot of concerts b/c of outrageous ticket prices. This made it so doable and I will come back for anything under $40 tickets :)

  • Prices have gone insane!

by Teenie Frog on 5/20/25Hollywood Casino Amphitheater - Maryland HeightsRating: 3 out of 5

Most of the bands' music quality wasn't great except the main stage. Parking, drinks, merch, food prices were insane. $50 for two tall boys is just crazy. $40 for a Tshirt. People aren't going to be able to afford to do these things.
