  • FUN, but.....

by Werdna on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 4 out of 5

This was a great weekend. The weather, the mood 90% of the time, water stations and bottles of water being handed and the music. THE but.... PRICE GOUGING: an act or instance of charging customers too high a price for goods or services, especially when demand is high and supplies are limited. GREED: The supplies were not limited and the demand was not high 20 dollars for minimal food, beverage prices far beyond 20% increase. Had fun, will go again but hope they reel in the prices.

  • Best festival ever!

by RedfishReaper89 on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Virginia Beach provided us w/ the festival of a lifetime. Great venue, food, drinks, merchandise, exhibits, etc. Beautiful weather for a weekend on the beach. Great planning to coincide with Jackalope festival. The vibes were off the charts. Good times! Hopefully this will become an annual event in VB.

I’m a huge reggae music fan and was absolutely stoked when i saw this festival was a thing, the lineup AND it being 20 mins. from home! Great food/drink/alcohol vendors, great layout and a great time. 10/10 hope they do this every year!!

  • Best experience

by Bonita0220 on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 5 out of 5

First time attending a festival in VA beach, and it was the best!! Food was great, performances were amazing!! They had a great set up with hydration stations, lockers, and just shaded areas to rest and relax as enjoying the amazing music. Really considering about going again next year!!

  • Great but disappointed as well

by Susan on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 4 out of 5

Great experience but disappointed that two of major headliners cancelled at the last moment and think an adjustment needs to be made in the cost of the tickets. The ADA and VIP was awesome but getting to it was difficult with my husband's wheelchair and once we arrive there we were limited only to the boardwalk because his wheelchair was not able to move on what was put down on the sand for the wheelchair to use. Maybe next time a harder surface needs to be put down for the wheelchairs if they have to go back and forth between stages or make an ADA lane on the boardwalk to go back and forth from stages.

  • Good time

by Harleigh on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 3 out of 5

Overall it was a good time. I think they should have a “beach blanket” section if they are going to allow people to sit on them at the stage as 99% of the people on blankets were getting kicked and trampled on by people moving back and forth between stages. And $12 for a white claw is absolutely insane. Tons of bathrooms so no lines for that was very nice.

  • Awesome!

by Maya on 6/4/24Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk - Virginia BeachRating: 4 out of 5

Overall awesome!! They should add another water station, the two were pretty far away from each other. Also, the handwashing stations at the porta potties ran out of water to wash hands. Bands and everything else was amazing!!! People need to be more considerate and pick up their trash!!
