I've enjoyed their videos on SNL, particularly the one when Woody Harrelson was the guest host, but this show was silly and juvenile.
I wasn't sure what to expect and I was blown away! They were absolutely hilarious, self-deprecating, sincere, and overall such a pleasure to watch. If you like sketch comedy or SNL, I would highly recommend seeing Please Don't Destroy live. Fantastic!
These guys are on a new level of comedy. Absolutely unreal how funny and original they are.
Opening act Emily Wilson is sharp, hilarious and knows how to craft an excellent performance. Juxtapose PDD’s video skits on SNL with their onstage performance and the difference is surprising, and not a good surprise. The calibre of their comedy drops considerably on stage to the point that you’ll be wondering if you’re instead at a high school talent show. It becomes glaringly apparent that the guest stars in their SNL skits raises their comedy level exponentially. And poor Conan O’Brien guest appearing on stage and having to read such teen boy “jokes.”
This was amazing and very funny! They went through prepared sketches with a little bit of spontaneity / crowd work during transitions. The level of humor and chemistry they have is inspiring. I didn't know what to expect given I was just a fan of their digital stuff but in-person might have even been better...lots of laughs!
This was the first live show I’ve ever been to and I’m not disappointed!!! I wasn’t sure what to expect but they were just hilarious. I wish I could’ve had a better view of the stage, if I had the chance to go again… I would!
I was excited to see them because of their YouTube videos and was not disappointed. Definitely different from any comedy routine I’ve seen, but awesome! I’d 100% see them again
Nothing like the wit and humor of their brilliant SNL skits. Just….not funny. It’s like they were just killing time with stuff they made up 6 minutes before. These guys are talented and can do better.
I walked into this show unsure of what to expect, as I’ve only ever seen this trio’s videos and didn’t know how their comedy would translate to the stage. It didn’t take any longer than 2 minutes of them being on stage for me to know it would be a great night—these guys are fantastic performers with a natural stage presence. Their banter between the sketches was honestly my favorite part, and I also loved how the show was planned instead of scripted. They went out of their way to surprise each other and keep the show interesting in every sketch. There was some fun audience interaction that took the show over the top and would only be possible in a smaller venue like the Neptune. It really felt like we were getting a one of a kind show, which is hands down my favorite kind of performance. I would, without hesitation, buy tickets to see these guys again!
when i say this was one of the best comedy shows i’ve seen, i truly mean it, i hope they continue coming back to boston because i will see them everytime
these little guys were amazinggg! SO funny! the highest of recommendations!
The show was fantastic, the guys were as funny in person as they come across on SNL and YouTube.
Drove 3 hours to San Diego to catch Please Don't Destroy. Loved them on snl but loved them in person more. Also got a photo with Martin at the stage door (could not have been more friendly or nice. What a great guy!!!!) I'd drive another three hours to see them again.
PDD did a bunch of sketches with some casual banter between. The opening comedian was funny and kept it short. The opening musical act was okay, and limiting herself to two songs was smart as we were all there for comedy, not music. The sketches were really funny, but also very edgy and occasionally a little over the edge (some gun violence which was not funny). It was a good show. Tickets were reasonably priced which made it an enjoyable night, as well.
From the opener throughout the whole show we were laughing and entertained. Especially loved the impromptu moments. "Lorraine Michaels"really knows how to pick them. Would go see these "Three Sad Virgins"anywhere!
I’ve seen a lot of comedy over the years, but I can’t recall if I’ve ever seen sketch comedy besides Improvs They were extremely funny and outrageous at times. If they are coming to your area in their tickets still available I highly recommend them.
please take time out of your day / night to go see these guys! HYSTERICAL
i felt empowered after this show, you really can do anything you set your mind to! and i thank you for that
Fresh, innovative and funny. It’s what drew me to their videos on SNL. Right out if the gate it was positive energy and the crowd was completely engaged. I even got called up on stage to be part of a sketch. Loved it and highly recommend it.
This trio is hilarious. Their comedy on SNL definitely translates to the stage. We had a wonderful fun time
