Captivate your senses and let go of everything for a one in a billion experience. Placebo is a band I’ll never let go of.
I've waited years to set Placebo live, and they didn't disappoint. I just wish the show had been longer.
I was disappointed with their set list. They didn't play Every You Every Me or Pure morning. The overall experience of their show was good and the venue but I expected them to play their hits and not close on a cover song.
Very cool I love placebo very very very muuuuuuuuuuuuch
First time at the Salt Shed, it’s very nice, not too big, not too small. Parking is a tad challenging. The acoustic at the top of the stands is terrible but it’s ok at ground level. Placebo was ok. I was a fan 20+ years ago and was expecting more of the old stuff, even though I like their new stuff too. Not much stage presence, not a long set list… just ok really. Wanted to buy a t-shirt but they sold out really quickly, poor planning.
My husband and I discovered Placebo in 2013 and we've been hooked ever since! We own every album and for the past 10 years, at least one of their CDs has been in rotation in our CD player & of course Spotify! Both of our daughters have grown up listening to Placebo - singing along in the car on the way to school and on road trips! When we heard they were coming to the Fillmore in Minneapolis ! We all went as a family and it will be one of my favorite family memories for as long as I live! My oldest daughter said she finally got to see her dad as a person and not just her dad. THANK YOU PLACEBO! WE LOVE YOU! KEEP ROCKING!
Music was awesome, great performance overall. Only strange thing was their recording/photo policy. Like... people paid good money for tickets so you'd expect that we could at least take a photo? Security wouldnt allow it. Straight up. It was upon artist request which seemed pretentious as well because its... Placebo. Like... the reasoning was connection with the audience but like... there would still be that connection regardless of whether people could have a memento or not. Real "you kids and your phones" energy. Aside from that, stellar performance.
Great show by the band Friday at the new Shed. We were up close (2nd row, GA) which was fantastic for sightlines and band interaction, however, since the speakers were way above our head the vocals were drowned out any time the center guitarist's amp was in use. (90%) so that was a big frustration and we had to resort to lip reading. Not sure if this was a venue thing or the fact that the amp was 5 feet tall. The venue was great, the staff was even better. I could tell that the culture of the staff has carried over from the Thalia Hall owners to this venue. (proactive communications, friendly)
We love their music and had waited a really long time to see them live. They sounded good, but they didn't really demonstrate their personalities at all (which I know they have!) and they left without playing our two favorite songs—Pure Morning and Every Me Every You. It was kind of a letdown if I'm fully honest.
The venue was great. It was a tiny bit confusing for a first to attendee, but less confusing and better placed signs will fix that. The crowd was respectful and followed the band’s recommendation to not use phones or tablets during the performance. This was such a welcomed change. Parking was easy, close and free!! Good job , Salt Shed.
Almost nine years in the making…SO worth it! The Salt Shed is a fabulous venue. Placebo rocked.
This is the first show I’ve been to where phones were not allowed, and it annoyed me at first because this is my favorite band and I’ve been waiting to see them for more than 10 years, I wanted at least one picture! BUT now I have to say, that no-phone rule was the best decision they could make. I enjoyed this more than any other show I’ve ever been to. I was present in the moment, and everyone around me was too, there were no lights or hands interrupting the experience, and it was all so magical! I felt so connected to every song, and Stefan and Brian gave their all on that stage! It couldn’t have been any better. The solos at the end of every song were spectacular, the passion in Brian’s voice was palpable… 12 year-old me and 25 year-old me are equally thankful and happy and suffering from the worst post-concert depression 🤣 this was definitely the best night of my life. Thank you SO much for the experience of a lifetime, Placebo!
I've been a Placebo fan for 25 years and was so excited to finally see them in concert! They put on a fantastic show! They sounded great, played a two hour set with songs from almost every album - a lot of songs off their new album. They connected with the crowd really well, even though there wasn't always a lot of talk between songs you could tell how into the music they were. I can't wait until they make their way back so I can see them again.
Placebo did not disappoint! They played great. This was my first show at the Salt Shed and it’s now one of my favorite venues!
Amazing new venue! Great seats, good sound and an amazing time! I look forward to visiting again ☺️
I love placebo and they put on a great show. The venue was great too. Placebo preformed so well, it was amazing to watch.
2023 Tour is heavy on the new album, wich its great, but we missed some classics
BRIAN AND STEF R MY GIRLS. LOVE FOREVER AND EVER AMEN
Venue was great, but the band wasd definitely the best! The set list was unique and an opportunity to enjoy their music besides their biggest hits.
Brian's voice is still as strong as ever! The shows are high energy and we are lucky in the States to get to see the arena quality show in the club sized rooms! Make sure you are familiar with the new album because they play pretty much all of it live!
