About
PJ Masks on Tour
Ever since Superman and Batman made their comic-book debuts in the 1930s, kids have always been drawn to superhero stories. They've indulged aspirational fantasies of acquiring their own special powers and saving the world. The Disney Junior animated series PJ Masks is a superhero franchise with a twist — the superheroes are regular kids themselves.
By day, Connor, Amaya, and Greg are your typical first-graders playing on the schoolyard. By night, they turn into Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko — the costumed crime-fighting trio who announce their transformation on each episode with a motto that every parent knows by heart at this point. (All together now: "PJ Masks are on their way, into the night to save the day!")
Since its debut in 2015, PJ Masks has joined the ranks of Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig in the pantheon of TV shows that have provided young children with an early education thanks to the art of the Netflix binge-watch.
Like those programs, PJ Masks has spawned an IRL offshoot in the form of a live revue. After touring the PJ Masks: Time to Be a Hero! show over the course of 2017-18, our heroes return to stages across North America in 2019 with a brand-new production, PJ Masks Live! Save the Day! The show features (adult) actors dressed up as Catboy, Owlette, and Gekko, and it presents its storyline through a series of acrobatic musical numbers set against animated video backdrops.
Expect to see the PJs square off against their most infamous nemeses: the mad scientist Romeo; the silver-haired, moonbeam-wielding Luna Girl; and the shadowy Night Ninja with his army of Ninjalinos. (The show also includes a handful of new songs not featured on the Time to Be a Hero! soundtrack that was released in October 2018.)

by Daveed8787 on 10/3/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoHad the best time ever at the PJ Masks Live show. My 4yr old daughter couldn't keep her mouth closed she had the shock face for the first 30 mins. Great gift for kids they will love it!
Rating: 2 out of 5 Not worth the high ticket price
by JenS68 on 10/3/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoIt was entertaining for my 5 year olds who like the show. But it was too long for what it was and too expensive. I bought a better category of seats for $80 each. Max I would have paid was $40 had I known what the show was. Cute singing and dancing but rambling story. They tried to stretch a 20 min cartoon to 90 mins. Painful.
Rating: 5 out of 5 PJ Masks was so fun!
by melissaInTheCity on 10/3/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoOur 3 year old son loved this show! what a great job they did! we bought the VIP mmet n greet tickets for after the show and the cast was upbeat and cheery after dancing and singing for 2 hours! Just wished the venue served wine! Parents definitely could use wine for a 2 hour kid show!! :-)
Rating: 3 out of 5 Not so much
by Tazzam on 10/3/17The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoI was not exactly sure what to expect when I purchased the tickets, I can say the pricing was not too bad. Unfortunately it did not keep my 3-year old son's attention, I think it could have been a little more interesting and not so much singing. My son enjoys to sing along with shows, etc, but did not know any of the music for the show. I know the staging area at the Chicago Theater is not very big, but the changing of scenes and furniture could have been a little smoother.

Rating: 1 out of 5 Wasn't impressed
by Mondovna on 9/30/17Dow Event Center - SaginawWe saw Paw Patrol last year and it was awesome. PJ Masks didn't even come close! It was like a B level movie. Costumes and set were really lame.
Rating: 2 out of 5by Anonymous on 9/30/17Dow Event Center - Saginaw I never would have paid as much for the tickets as we did had I known how poor quality the show would be. The story line was hard to follow and all over the place. The villains costumes were excellent but the pj mask character costumes were awful. All of this on top of the power going out and having an additional intermission while that was fixed was not enjoyable.
Rating: 2 out of 5 PJ Masks disappointing
by Gidget123 on 9/30/17DeVos Performance Hall - Grand RapidsThe music and dancing were the highlights. However it soon became very monotonous. The story lines were disappointing., along with a too long intermission
Rating: 3 out of 5 PJ Masks was not worth the price.
by Sarahkay13 on 9/30/17Dow Event Center - SaginawOh where to begin....costumes and props looked like a local HS created them. We experienced a complete shut down for 20 min as they must have blew a circuit. It was not worth the price.
Rating: 5 out of 5 PJ Masks was so much fun!
by Happymommy10 on 9/30/17Dow Event Center - SaginawMy 2 year old loved this show! He was content the entire time, and even got up and danced! Great time, happy memories.
Rating: 4 out of 5 My niece loved it!!
by KaylaJo on 9/30/17Dow Event Center - SaginawI brought my 3 year old niece and she absolutely loved it! She was on her feet and dancing and singing along with the characters. I had the best time watching the excitement on her face!
Rating: 3 out of 5 My 2 year old son still loved it
by crazyfingers13 on 9/25/17Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreMy almost 3 year old son is completely OBSESSED with PJ Masks so of course when I saw PJmasks live was coming, I had to spend every last cent I had for these more than PRICEY tickets. For how much money this production made, I myself am a little disapointed in this show, but my son still LOVED It. I thought that the props were extremely basic and could have been better. The HQ wasn't even a prop, it was on the screen behind the stage. Connor, Amaya, and Greg only showed up for 20 seconds at the very beginning of the show, and they never showed the favorite part of a lot of kids which is where the kids become the superheros (ie: amaya becomes owlette), I do give HIGH praise to the actors who played the vilians (night ninja, romeo, and luna girl)....all three of them were AWESOME! I felt as though the actors who played the PJ Masks have never watched an episode in their life. The merchandise was completely unaffordable for any middle or lower class person that just spent every last cent they had on a ticket to get in, and that makes for a very unhappy toddler when you can't afford to buy them a toy (which by the way, I've seen the exact same toys in Walmart and Target for a quarter of the price they were sold for at the show). Bottom line is that the show was still very entertaining, but I sure think it could have been done better with all the money they are raking in from it. My son really did love it though and is still talking about it days later.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Great for Kids, Of Course!
by JaeK1213 on 9/24/17Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreMight not have been the best plot line, but my 3 year old was enthusiastic and loved it & that is really all that matters to me! The lights and music were amazing! Props were so-so, but overall it was fantastic for me & my daughter to share!
Rating: 5 out of 5 My grandbabbies loved the PJ Mask Live Show!
by YolandaMaMa on 9/24/17Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreThe show was amazing! My grand children absolutely loved the show! The characters were engaging and funny! I loved that they came into the audience and involved the children. The music was great and my babies are still talking about it today!
Rating: 1 out of 5 What a waste of time.
by EDJ12345 on 9/24/17Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreI have been to the venue many times but this time audio was horrible, more high school musical than anything. The actors were way too old to play the characters and the costumes were just weird. I get the feeling that some of the dancers were phoning it in. I was disappointed all around.
