    Great Revival!

by SherryDec on 8/4/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I already love this show, but the new revival is fantastic. The voices, the choreography and the jump to cirque de soleil type acrobatics was phenomenal. Adrian Barbeau was delightful, Pippin was perfect, the set was fantastic. Loved it!!!

    Tries too hard

by Laurkas on 8/3/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The acrobatics are breathtaking, Ms. Allen in the lead role is fantastic. The rest is is well-produced but over-acted fluff. Not very well-written and sometimes a bit corny.

    Pippin was a circus extravaganza

    by Rockoff132 on 8/3/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I had seen the show in NYC and was a bit disappointed by the way that the circus performers took down the circus set at the end of the play. It was much more dramatic on Broadway. The music was memorable especially "Corner of the Sky," "Morning Glow", "Love Song" and :Magic to Do." Pippin has a most interesting story line and it intrigued me from start to finish. Sam Lipps had a problem getting into the character at first, but really developed things nicely as the show progressed. I loved his scenes with Theo and Charlotte. We travel through life always wanting more. Pippin dares to ask the question, "Is this as good as it gets?" BTW, stunning work by Adrienne Barbeau who hasn't done anything for a while on stage.

    Marvelous performance

by KennedysMommyToo on 8/3/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The tap dancing. The very end with the little boy was really climatic. But, the lead woman stole the show!

    Pippin was great!

My family enjoyed the circus performances, especially impressed with the grandmother! Would recommend to anyone over 17 as there are some adult themes. Strong cast.

Loved it, have seen it many times. I saw the original Broadway cast in 1973. This was fun and totally entertaining!

    Great songs!

    by Grandpa59 on 8/2/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

We saw this show in the 70's on Broadway and loved it then! I wasn't sure how the 70's theme ("I've got to find myself") would hold up today, but the lessons are just as relevant today. The Circus backdrop was truly amazing! Wonderful fun, with unforgettable music. Highly recommended! Parents need to be aware that there is "adult" material before bringing their young children, however.

    Slow going

    by TW1999 on 8/2/15Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Very slow for most of the first act. The voices of most were good, but the main male character's voice was sub par. Good plot but the slow start was a big drag

    Incredible!!

by Maidenman on 7/12/15Fair Park Music Hall - Dallas

I saw the touring show. My first time to see it. I didn't know the story or what to expect. This show was awesome. I have no idea why this story is set in a circus but it was great. Many many circus acts/stunts and magic tricks. The music and dancing is great. Production and cast are top rate. I loved it.
