    Everything but the parking

by Shermans69 on 3/30/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

For a stadium built in two months, the atmosphere was surprisingly great. The grounds around the stadium certainly reflect the temporary nature of a scaffolding stadium, but once inside, in the seats, it's a great stadium. Can't wait to go to another match.

    Phoenix Rising Soccer

by LindsayDahl74 on 3/29/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

Great event! Soccer stadium didn't disappoint. Lots of traffic. I recommend planning ahead to allow extra time to get into and out of parking lot. Bring your appetite- yummy food and drink vendors.

    Phoenix Rising is rising!!

by PhxoenixJoe on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

For a stadium built as fast as that. It was awesome, the atmosphere was great and the team and stadium have massive potential. If you enjoy football(soccer) and you want some local sport. I highly recommend going to a Phoenix Rising FC game.

    Great first event.....

by DBDJR on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

Stadium spectacular, concessions good, bathrooms adequate (barely), parking marginal, traffic awful. Team played well. Will go again, but please fix the traffic exit problem.

    Phoenix Rising

by mutnauq on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

The soccer field, stands, restrooms, venue were all well thought out and very nice. The soccer match is what I expected...fairly well played and the refereeing was good. The ONLY drawback I have is the amount of time it takes to park. We left our house at 6:15 (only takes 7 minutes to get there) and we got parked at 7:00 PM. There is only ONE entry and exit point even though there are more entry/exit points on McClintock and on McKellips. We left twenty minutes early (game had 20 minutes left) so we could get out of there in a reasonable time frame. So, all in all, I give it a four but parking is an event killer.

    Not organized at all

by FreyjasChosen on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

I drove there in my own car, and it took over an hour to get into the parking lot because traffic was so backed up. Once we did manage to find a parking spot in their pitch-black dirt lot, we had to wait another 20 minutes in line to get our tickets scanned. My girlfriend and I missed the first 25 minutes of the match just trying to get in, which is when the only goal was scored in the match. Once we got into the stadium, we found out OUR SEATS DON'T EXIST. We have Section 114, Row A. We found section 114, only to realize it consists of rows E through P. How did they sell us tickets for seats that don't exist?! Not only was the experience the worst I've ever had at a sports game, but the team is terrible too. They keep acting like they've gotten better since they went under last season, but then they lose their home opener with 0 goals. I would never recommend this to anyone, I totally wasted my money that night.

    Go but don't take kids

by Anonymous on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

I would recommend only because there are no bad seats (if you can get one) but this place did not seem very family friendly. With the seats I bought being GA and they additional selling of "standing room only". There was no sufficient spot my 5 year old daughter could watch without me holding her. The parking situation also deserves negative 5 stars. I made a big deal of this event with my daughter as it was a daddy daughter date. I live in North Phoenix and left early to go to dinner before. We ate dinner at Tempe Marketplace and left 45 min before kickoff. We were not remotely near entering the lot due to traffic when I could hear the national anthem and start of the game in our car. After realizing the game was already 20 min in and I was still about 30min from parking, I left the line parked elsewhere, run in with my daughter on my back just trying to get inside. When we finally got in there was about 10 min left of the first half and I could still see a long line of cars just trying to get in. I was also building excitement about the kids section that I saw they would have as my daughter plays soccer and loves it. Since we couldn't get in before the game started due to insufficient parking. I was told the kids area was only during pre game.

This is a new team in the valley and will have its growing pains. Having said that some better planning would have gone a long way into organizing this event. Entry and parking for this event was a nightmare. There was a .single lane to enter into the arena, which is quite a way back from the main road. This caused backups over an hour long. Eventually they stopped collecting the parking fees that speeded up the parking process but we missed the start of the game in spite of being there an hour earlier. Since this is a make shift stadium, bathrooms are scarce, We had to wait a long time to get out of the stadium after the game while we were waiting for the players to walk back to their locker rooms, which crosses through the fan exit area. There are no signs to indicate where you parked so be certain to clearly remember that information.

    Parking ruined the game

by Azwepe on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

The parking (before and after the game) were terrible and poorly organized. It was a free-for-all- there were no lanes or guides to tell people were to park on unmarked gravel, and after the game, all cars were funneling to one exit, 20 lanes merging to 3 lanes. Not enough food options, so the lines were incredibly long, many people missed a good portion of the game waiting in lines. The team apparel booth was poorly staffed, so the line for that was really long, too. That said, the stadium was nice, the game was fun, the fans in the support zone was awesome. After the game, the players came by the stands to give autographs and high five the supporters.

    Supporters Section

by Loudav on 3/28/17Phoenix Rising Soccer Complex - Scottsdale

I have to say that sitting in the supporter section was a blast! The energy all match long was unbelievable! 10$ well worth it!
