Facility was terrific site big 12 tournament. Some of the worst officIating I've ever seen over the course of a tournament.
Loved the tournament but disappointed that my reserved seat was almost behind the goal when there were so many empty seats at every session. It was nice that we were allowed to move. Prices seemed high for food, drinks and clothing.
The employees at the Chesapeake Arena were all so very helpful and friendly. They helped everybody find good restairants and other places of interest in the city. The arena was very clean and comfortable at all times. The public address systems were loud enough and very clearly understandable. The doors were opened at the posted times, and there were ample ticket checkers to keep those entering moving through in a short time. The tournament was an extremely enjoyable experience!
Not much to say..... went to watch basketball. Sat in terrible seats for the first game, then moved to comfy seats for the second game. Watched OU lose. Then watched OSU lose on Sunday. We were disappointed with the outcome, but glad we went. However, we would not have stayed, if we had not found comfy seats in which to sit! Some half-time entertainment would have been nice.
Hope to have Big 12 Women Basketball there forever!!!!! Enjoy it!!!!!
Another great tournament in OKC! I wish we could get them here more often! The Peake is a great place to watch a game. Had a great time! Too bad my Sooners didn't win, though.
I went every day and had a blast. Met lots of new people from all over the country. I definately plan to go next year.
The American Airlines Center (AAC) was terrific host to the Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship. Attended all five sessions and enjoyed watching some great basketball. The Baylor team and Brittney Griner were amazing to watch. All five sessions of the tournament were well attended. Hopefully the AAC will be able to host NCAA women's basketball championship.
Tournament was great and needs to come back to Dallas in the future.
I am a Baylor Lady Bears fan, so it was a great weekend. I would definitely recommend these seats to anyone. Great view of all the action. Everyone at the AAC was friendly and helpful.
Took my folks to the Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament and had a blast! Only thing I'd change is availability of food vendors. Not enough choice BUT still a fun time. :)
We had great seats and buying sessions tickets was a wonderful idea!! I definitely look forward to attending another tournament.
lot of unfill seats lower level.Overall view and sound was ok.
This is the first time I attend the Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship since it was located in Dallas this year. It was amazing watching all these teams play for the championship! I enjoyed every single session. The final game, Baylor vs Iowa State, the place was packed! Hopefully this stays in Dallas, if so, I will be there again!! Now on to the Final Four in New Orleans!
The arena was super! The teams were set. The fans showed up in droves. And those #1 Lady Bears didn't mess around. They played ferocious defense, bulls' eye offense. Yes it was a Threepeat...just like in 2011 and 2012...they showed who ownes the Big 12 in women's basketball. On to Waco...Oklahoma City,,,and then New Orleans. They are ready to repeat what happened in Denver...whether it bne Notre Dame, Connecticut, or Stanford.
Thought it was a great place for the Women's Big 12 Tournament. I like it being separate from the men's tournament. Had a great time at all the great places to eat and drink around the American Airlines Arena .
Awesome!!!!!!More than what I expected...my entire party had a great time, looking forward to aanother event soon...
The tournment ran smoothly. Had big crowds Dallas was nice place to play.
I refreshed and refreshed till the tickets went on sale. chose best available and got nose bleed seats. This is not the first time. What exactly do you have to do to get good seats? The game was fantastic and you could see the whole court but they were so far away I had a hard time identifying the players.
Perfect venue & hospitality by everyone involved. Strong preference for separation of men's and women's basketball tournament!
