About

Lauded as an experimental and alternative band and one that's never been married to a particular genre, Phantogram - comprised of lifelong friends Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel - have continued to change the zeitgeist for almost a decade by consistently challenging it with their signature blend of hard-hitting beats, guitar driven dark psychedelia and electronic pop. Since the arrival of 2010's debut release, Eyelid Movies, the duo has amassed over a billion streams, achieved one platinum-certified single, two gold-certified singles, collaborated with legends such as Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, The Flaming Lips and Miley Cyrus, partnered with Big Boi of Outkast to form supergroup Big Grams, headlined sold out shows worldwide, become a festival staple and toured with artists including Arcade Fire, The xx, Muse, M83, alt-J and more.

With major campaigns for Apple TV+, Peloton and Apple Watch, and additional placement in multiple TV shows, the band's reach has never been so wide

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Unreal. Phantogram brought so much energy, had an incredible light setup, and played an incredible set."

    Lasting Memories

by Kris Mattox on 11/7/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

My wife is a HUGE Phantogram fan. She's loved their music for years and plays it often. I have been wanting to take her to a show for a long time, but with the pandemic, had to wait even longer. I saw they were coming to House of Blues in Anaheim and had to get tickets. They were offering a meet & greet with the band before the show, and I decided to add that to our tickets. It was well worth it and such a cool experience. Sarah and Josh came out, did a Q&A and took pictures with the entire group. They were such down-to-earth, humble and gracious people. My wife got to ask a question about their creative process and their answers were very insightful as to what their process in like. She was so stoked! From the meet & greet, we went inside the venue to buy some merch and were able to head back to our car to store the purchased merch so we didn't have to carry it around all night. Then we headed back inside to watch GLU perform. He's a solo act and I did not know much about him until after the show. Come to find out he was one of the guitarists for Queens of the Stone Age. He was really good on the guitar and had a unique sounding voice (in a good way). His music was a cool mix of rock with lyrics in an almost rapping style. Overall, we really liked his performance. After a short period of time to get set up, Phantogram came on and got right into it. They were SO good live, just as good or even better than their recorded music. Sarah has an amazing voice and she sounded great on every song. Josh killed it on the guitar and has a really good voice in his own right. Their sound was phenomenal the entire time. The lighting was super cool too and added another element to the show. I was just blown away by how good their entire set was. Honestly, we went because my wife was a huge fan. I liked their music, but was really there for her to see them play. Let's just say I left there as a much bigger fan than when I arrived. This was an amazing experience, one from which we will have lasting memories. We already can't wait for their next show and will be buying tickets whenever they return to town. Thank you Phantogram and the House of Blues!!!

    Band was great, venue was…

by nattyd on 11/7/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Really enjoyed Phantogram but the venue was definitely oversold. I’ve been to many shows at HOB Anaheim but this was the worst in terms of overcrowding. Literally nowhere to stand that wasn’t on the path of others. Felt unsafe. And they really need to fix the merch area. Long lines just to see what merch is available. Disappointing overall experience.

    Amazing show

by Sonic on 11/7/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

The show was amazing. They played two additional songs that weren’t on their previous set list ;) I think the House of Blues sold too many tickets though. It was very crowded.

    Beyond expectations

by SweetE on 11/7/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

First time to see them in concert and they far exceeded what I thought I was gonna get. Great energy throughout which kept the fans into it. Their yin and yang totally works. Besides the rock in’ bod, her use of hair warrant’s its own category! Definitely would see them again.

    Wasn’t impresses with the venue

by Ofelia on 11/7/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

I love Phantogram and have seen them a few times in which they always sound great. Their show at the House of Blues was so crowded people paid $$$ to stand at the exit. Sara’s voice was so low and the music was so loud you couldn't hear her singing. I was so upset that it was over crowded and it sounded awful that I walked out after an hour of fighting to see while standing at the exit. Not a fan of this venue, so many better places to play in southern cali, especially in hollywood. Drove two hours in traffic to go to Anaheim to leave annoyed.

Great band at a great venue.

by Alex on 12/18/19The Pageant - St Louis

I’ve been a fan of Phantogram for years and this performance was as good as any I’ve seen. This is the first time I’ve seen them with a backing band. It’s a nice evolution. Also, the Pageant is great. It was super easy for us to get right to the front where we stayed all night. Highly recommend.

by Chris L on 12/18/19The Pageant - St Louis

Top five show of all time, could be number one. The sound, light show, stage presence, and the vibe were perfect! I expected a great show but ended up seeing a life changing event. I will never miss them if they come anywhere nere me! Loved every minute of it!

This our third time seeing Phantogram and they put on a great show! Love that they played some new songs too! Best moment of the night was Sarah talking about the loss of her sister Becky. Absolutely moving.

    AMAZING!

by R. on 12/7/19The Fillmore Charlotte presented by Cricket Wireless - Charlotte

Phantogram was an incredible show! I attend a lot of concerts and it was easily in my top 3 for this year! The light show was bomb, the music was bumping, and the festivus drink was perfect.

by Concert Pro on 12/7/19The Fillmore Charlotte presented by Cricket Wireless - Charlotte

Drove up from Atlanta to see Phantogram. Great performance, as usual. They played all of the favorites plus the newer songs. The venue was really nice. Parking was nearby and reasonably priced. A great evening overall.

    Phantogram Was So Sick . . .

by Budz McKenzie on 12/7/19The Fillmore Charlotte presented by Cricket Wireless - Charlotte

Phantogram is one of my favorite bands . . . so dope. Sarah and Josh rocked our asses off! They totally blew my mind. Can't wait to hear "all the new material" that's coming out soon.

    Awesome as usual.

by Concert Pro on 9/19/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

I've seen Phantogram a bunch of times at different venues. The band was great as usual. Played most of the favorites plus some brand-new songs. I don't care for this particular venue, with one of the reasons being the mediocre-at-best sound quality. Phantogram deserves a better PA system.

    Fantastic Performance

by KTMATL on 9/17/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

Josh and Sarah rocked this entire show, from start to finish. Tons of energy, raw talent, and passionate enthusiasm. Our entire experience was wonderful--and now I wish I could just follow Phantogram around and see every show. I was already a huge fan; now I'm a superfan.

    Love me some Bob Moses

by ATLmusiclover on 9/12/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - Atlanta

My review is about the opening act, Bob Moses. A friend turned me on to this great duo's music a few years ago, and this was the first time I've seen them perform live. They did not disappoint! Great set, super energy, and I absolutely love their music. My only regret is their set was short...less than 45 minutes. Understood they were the opening act but.....Bob Moses is on the rise, and I hope next time they visit Atlanta THEY will be the headliner. Can't wait to see them again! Also want to give a shout out to the Tabernacle. I'm a long time ATL resident and had not been to this fabulous venue in many years. Beautiful setting, great acoustics, and every member of their staff was super friendly. Way to go, Tabernacle! Keep rocking.....
